agree, mainly bc the platform is the closest to twitter. plus threads is too close to insta where I get sucked up for hours looking at huskies and toddlers and george carlin clips.
Various reasons, I’m sure, but most of them are innocent. They don’t know or understand. Sometimes people connect through social media sites because it’s the only connection they have to distant family or friends. Most of them are older. So many reasons why.
I really like it here at Bluesky. Mastodon I do have an acct bc there’s a person I follow there that I really like their content. I only go there for that one acct. I will stay here, tho!

I don't care if people go to Bluesky or Mastodon (meh on Threads because it's Facebook, but we'll see), as long as less engagement on Xitter means less advertising dollars.
Colorado tried to use the 14th to keep him off the ballot. In court, he was adjudicated as an insurrectionists but Colorado lost that case because the 14th says nothing about ballots because it would be moot since those found to have ENGAGED in insurrection MAY NOT HOLD office. Thoughts?

Yeah that bothers me because I was still getting money requests after the election. I’ll donate like crazy IF she formally asks for a hand recount, and I mean hand—not paper ballots to votes but actual vote tallies— but not beforehand.
