Nothing to admire here when I've seen individuals fight back when they don't have the enormous means these law firms have.

I think Cooley (top quartile) is the largest firm by revenue fighting for the cause.
On the other hand there's a reason there are so many "no skid marks for the lawyer" jokes. I can't say I had terribly high expectations that we could pin our hopes on the integrity of law firms, particuiarly the big money-makers.
I did hear a nuanced discussion of Paul Weiss and Skaden and how their businesses are heavily dependent on M&A, private equity, and that's why they caved.
