I went to Austin's Tesla protest today... It won't change a thing in the big scheme of things, but it certainly helped me feel less powerless.... and it was fun to tell Alex jones to his face that he is a degenerate con man

I write in code just to waste police resources when they find my dead body from whatever killed me. And it feels like a lot of effort for something that's just going to be ignored if it ever even comes to that, but it's a detail that WILL GET IGNORED! And that gives the journal power.
After a lifetime of protesting, giving money and making phone calls, I’m finally in a space to take more action. Is there a resource that suggest actions I can take (from small to more robust)?
Small acts of defiance, against injustice, repeated everyday, by more and more people, in public and without fear, spread courage and freedom, and beat oppression and corruption.
We The People ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. We will not be silent!
"Silencing one voice creates a ripple that quiets many," said Bear. "When we allow even a single truth to be hushed...we begin the slow, steady erasure of all that could be said."
There are many ways to resist. It can be as small as refusing to buy from businesses that are dismantling DEI, engaging in positive action such as volunteering or supporting charities for marginalised people. Of course voting is a must. Not all resistance needs to be grand acts.
And support fellow resisters. Behind every successful mass movement there's an army of support people who get the word out, coordinate, donate, legal advice, food, transportation, baby sitting, shelter for those who must travel and on and on. There's more to it than marching. Your effort matters.
Strangely, a sappy martial-arts movie led me to realize the truth. The main character felt weak and powerless. A sage old man pointed out:
One finger. Weak. Breaks easy.
When curled into a fist, it gains the strength and support of the whole hand. It can break rock and kill a man.
My heart is breaking for our beautiful country! If you want to do something but aren't comfortable or close to any protests, please don't buy anything on Wednesdays! Make it a regular thing, every Wednesday! You can show up by not showing up! Women have so much economic power, let's use it together!
Exactly this, I'm not gonna let those bastards stop me from enjoying the things I do! I got the people, movies, pets and hobbies I love and I won't let them take that from me!
Every act of resistance counts. And every citizen should think of one thing they can do *every day* and stick to it. Call representatives. Write postcards. Attend townhall meetings. Check in with an unemployed friend. All acts of resistance.
👏 Everyone in the game.👏

I think millions of us making consistent, disciplined changes will count. I’ve never really believed in sudden miracles as much as I have wanted them sometimes.
Absolutely. All of it matters. Additionally, no matter who you are in the pro-damoxy coalition, make sure your resistance includes making full use of your Second Amendment right: arming yourself up, stockpile ammo, and join or create gun affinity groups. Don't be left flat foot when 1776 restarts
I wrote my senator (Patty Murray) every day and wrote to Schumer to do the right thing and we all know how that turned out. Boycotting Walmart and as many other businesses as I can. Gas at Costco or on the Reservation. It’s little but it makes me feel like I’m contributing
Hey I've been out protesting since the 60s. I know small protests are important. I also know people find them"cute" or amusing. I respect and admire all of them. 2million people in the streets Is much more influential, so is 800,000+ high schoolers in the streets of DC
Still waiting for those .
Went to a protest at a Tesla dealership in St. Petersburg Florida today. Lots of fun, lots of positive energy. It beats staying at home and feeling depressed about everything that’s going on.
⚡️ THE BIG ONE? I live in DC and have been waiting for “the big protest” to happen. We need to build on all the great rallies that are *already* happening. Here’s some info about “Hands Off” events on Saturday, April 5 in DC and across the US. https://handsoff2025.com/
You must have been influenced by the Women's March, day after Trumps first inauguration, 2 million and he March for Our Lives 800,000. I have been waiting for that magnitude to happen - and it really needs to.
Wow this was 2013.
I have been doing little things like really changing my spending habits. And I have been sharing with people what I am doing.
I have the goods unite app. And it really helps me decide where I want to shop.
I do not want to feed the monsters.
You never know what you might do.

It’s never been about efficiency. It’s tearing down the US strength, security, economy, health and education for the benefit of the tinpot war criminal and allow the uberrich to pick up assets cheap
Absolutely! Like Patton said about reading the Bible, “Every Goddamned Day!” The Administration is an Abomination! They are essentially book burning on the Web.
Since being in India, I am more convinced than ever before that the method of nonviolent resistance is the most potent weapon available to oppressed people in their struggle for justice and human dignity.

DO SOMETHING! No gesture or action is too small.
While someone may think they’re not making a dent or a difference, we need to think in terms of the collective.
Every little bit helps.

Let them marinate in their temporary power, but strength in numbers always prevails! 💪🤬
Anything more than nothing contributes.
Revolution is now!

Please *repost* this.
For folks who say the US is too big, or people are too tired, or large protest is impossible. This is in our history. It’s in our blood.
We need to be seen in one place at one time.
Media could not ignore this.
Monied advocacy groups need to lead. @indivisible.org

Trumpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Trumpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Trumpty together again. 🤷♂️

Protests make your voice stronger!
Besides, it is making republicunts shit their pant!
Keep up the good work!
