it is absolutely incredible that elon's companies did not all crash to zero when he brought out what was clearly a guy in a robot suit and told everyone that it was a humanoid robot

Or the dancing robots on a loop, actual cheap animatronics. Actual reveal that he's holding a 2 and a 5 and the market just gave him a haircut instead of collapsing the 'future value' bubble.
The fact that the “robot” was found vaudeville minstrel dances that basically were used alongside blackface to mock minorities… I mean. That shit was planned.
The principle of "it is easier to fool people(Elon's obvious bullshit & con artistry) than to convince then they have been tricked(people were lied to about Musk being smart for a LONG time)"is heavily in play, I think.
I was just thinking that, because a friend of mine linked to a video of a Chinese robot doing martial arts moves that could not possibly be a guy in a suit.
"Sure it's a fake robot. And the self-driving thing is fake. But the vision! That's real. So we're buying the vision -- and also meme-coins for rocks, cartoon characters no one has heard of and pizzas."
