This color use is stunning! I assumed at first glance that this smooth gradient was clever use of a thread that shifted between these colors…but wow. It was even more impressive when I stopped to zoom in!
That looks awesome! I just bought some thread, needles and these wooden frame things with holes… thought that might be easier for my first and second go around. I’m in awe of that dang stegosaurus. ❤️
Beautiful! I am working on my first embroidery piece ever. Any tips on making it easier to make sure you’re poking the needle in the exact place you want it and not, like, 0.1 mm to the left which somehow ruins the effect? Just practice?
Thank you!! I kinda do a series of tiny pokes until I find the exact place I want it. Kinda a “poke poke poke STAB.” Also really good light and being willing to pull out a stitch if I don’t like the way it’s laying (takes more time, but I’m a perfectionist)
This is so cool and pretty. I keep staring and I had to show my friend as motivation. She loves dinos. I hope this gets her hyped to embroider. Beautiful piece <3
Your interests and mine have very little overlap, and that makes my "Wow -- so creative!" even bigger.

Trying to keep up with all the comments and follows, but it’s off to bed for me! Wishing you lots of steggy hugs!
Come to think of it, I've never seen a stegosaurus stitched before either.
