I can't figure out what their AI training model might hope to learn from my use of eBay? I mean, all I do is search, occasionally buy something – and more often give up because it only shows me bad search results
"This person bought 5 metres of iron-on interfacing, a new unit for a shimano nexus hub gear, some small plastic clips, a length of elastic, and a silicone gasket for a moka pot. Our AI model is now terrified and trying to hide in a corner."
I bought a new mattress a couple of years ago. You'd think Google would start serving ads for new pillows, duvets, bedlinen, but no, more mattresses, like I was auditioning for the starring role in "The Princess and the Pea."
I wonder how much they are paying these consultants that flog them and targeting and AI systems? The average CEO is very IT-naive and gullible in my experience!

Kinda concerning that it's opt-out rather than opt-in. I get why they do it but it's still frustrating.
