Agree. In theory social media isn’t an essential service, but I’ve got stuck on Facebook because so many of my friends I’ve made through hobbies. I enjoy their updates and meet up with some when I can. But life is so busy and I’d lose touch without chatting online. It needs regulating.

For those not aware (I'm sure many or even most are), putting the phone handset into the modem was a workaround: the AT&T monopoly had made it illegal to connect anything but a phone to a phone line. You can do arbitrary things like that to your customers when you haven't got any competitors.
