Cold light of day, the number of injuries and the amount of energy Arsenal are putting into every game, every three days. I just can’t be hugely angry with players or coach. I think they’re short and they’re giving absolutely everything. The guys upstairs need to help them now. I need their energy.

It is wild that a squad with Tomiyasu - zinchenko - kiwior - tierney - calafiori is having to play an 18 year old, and wilder still that the 18 year old has all the hallmarks of a star. That is a blessing I guess.
Did the same earlier in the season Vs Brighton
A squad that has been decimated with injuries & clearly exhausted, actually doing a reasonable job of staying competitive.
Look at Liverpool when they lost VVD a couple of years back or this season’s City implosion
The Summer is where we can really make a difference with the right incomings.
Zubimendi/Sesko/Semenyo a nice start!
My concern is what happens if Mikel & or the players have a dip in spirits.

The board has to do something to protect the boys and manager this season. They deserve it.
We cant let this be a repeat of the Cesc years. This team deserves a major trophy and it needs backing
But what we need is a different type of backing now. It’s disaster recovery backing.
It’s not backing to win a league, it’s backing to not let the arsehole fall out of the season.
I think Timber, Havertz & Martinelli are all on the edge
Yet, I must acknowledge it is hard for the club now.. 1/2
Credit where it is due, they eventually appointed a manager and a backroom team that have significantly improved the club. However, it is now time that Arsenal move to the next stage with this manager and give him the next level talent to really win. 1/2
I'm not talking about many signings, just a couple in key positions that finally complete the jigsaw.
As you've said before, it's a vicious cycle.
A short squad means more onus on the current players which means more injuries. And it goes on.
Not signing at least one player is endangering the current squad.
The players deserve great credit for adapting to different (and sometimes new) roles every three days. Other clubs have struggled without that adaptability.
I found myself feeling so bad for our players yesterday at full time. Wished I could tell each of them individually they did great. And wished I could tell Kroenke he’s a prick for not supporting this group last year.
This is not a Leicester type season just because it’s not City does not take away how good the leading team is
We also made 3 points this week on the previous match’s last year
They way the media report it is like we are 15th in the league
The players are doing all they can.
We don’t get a lot of love from other clubs supporters
The media definitely does seem to shed an unfair light on us but I’m certain other supporters feel the same way about their clubs
Keep the faith!
We are creating lots of half chances and chances but no finish
It’s been the story for two seasons now
Our sporting director hasn’t been replaced for 3 months - what on earth are Tim Lewis and Richard Garlick and Jason Ayto doing?this is no way to run AFC !
Havertz, Gabriel and Odegaard played 120, 90 and 90 in last 6 days. Timber, MLS not far off. Its too much.
No lack of effort or quality but physically its too much with the same 11 or 12
