My daughter was in for three months. My advice is to go out to dinner before you take your baby home. You’ll never have better babysitters. (Kid is 22 now)

grow grow little guy! i spent my first 3.5 months on earth there (i was very preemie), now i am a librarian and i recently ran into a woman at work who is a retired NICU nurse from my NICU!!!
This beautiful little sparkle of a person will never have to carry change for a payphone, blow into a Nintendo cartridge, or rewind a tape with a pencil. 😁

BTW, if you have a dog or cat, let them smell his clothing before you wash them. *Might* help with adjustment.

I LOVED that trip. I probably rented the same few movies over and over again (Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, etc.) but it was always an experience.
