I feel this… I’m not an author, I’m a business blog guy that is in no way talented, but I get the “I can’t write right now.. I have **rummages through task list** thing to do!”
I am enjoying your posts. I wasn't familiar with ur books so I looked u up. I got excited and mentioned ur books to my husband who said 'where have u been, I love his books!' This is what happens when we buy our books on kindle, can't
peruse our bookshelves lol. Happy to have more books to read!
Lol! My husband's boyfriend is a writer and he wears his bathrobe all day too! We have to remind him he still needs to wash it! If I didnt do his laundry he'd probably wear the same underwear everyday! 😂
I'll trade ya an owner who has to walk their dog with a fever! Once with my last dog, I had the flu and walked my 75lb dog who got scared by something and dragged me home at a dead run. Running with the flu is a near death experience
I admire your dog walking outfit greatly, it sums up the line “lord let me have the confidence of a white man”, usually the phrase includes the word mediocre, but if I could justify being in public in my dressing gown I would. Magnificent.
Dogs don't walk themselves, though I am currently enjoying the image of my parents' Border Terriers taking themselves out for a walk. Knowing them, they'd probably sneak into the pub for a swift half and pretend they hadn't when they got home.
Will look forward to seeing a chapter in your next book about the cadet who didn’t complete his assignments because he had to walk the commandant’s pet Targ.
I've spoken to your dog. I have convinced him that you need to finish this book. He understood I gave him a biscuit. Your cat would like more lap time as well, btw.
Heinlein wrote a whole story around walking dogs. I think it's time for a parallel universe story, with a Spider Robinson twist to it. With intelligent spacefaring chameleons, but they are the ones walking us.
Portrait of a reader’s dog, feeling unappreciated while the reader is waiting for the author to meet his deadline so the reader can finally read said author’s next book.

(On second glance I see it's a sniwfkake)

Done procrastination. (walk the dog for the 15th time)
He might eat your homework otherwise.
Mine would if I let her, but I don't. Someone's gotta carry her poop for her.
And the doggy's deadline of bowel/bladder evacuation is easily accommodated, and quickly rewarded with love and appreciation. :)
