Fun fact: For our first dance as a married couple, Krissy and I slow-danced to Bryan Ferry's "Slave to Love," which segued directly into Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole," which we then absolutely headbanged to, because it was our wedding and that meant our first dance could be whatever we wanted

For our wedding, as the bride came down the aisle, we played Cab Calloway's "I'll Be Glad When You're Dead, You Rascal You."
Also our wedding was a costume party!
Like what is the point of a wedding if you're not showcasing what made you two weirdos be the perfect weirdos for each other.
Ahhhhh!

Opportunity!
With hindsight, I should have just got my friends to mosh.
Our first dance was "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong... which segued directly into "End of the World As We Know It" by REM.
Fun fact the summer that that was out I was hanging out with Richard Patrick and Brian Liesegang in Cleveland Ohio. One of the best times of my life!
Some friends had a heavy metal wedding in purple and black…
I was at the Slayer Table!
I remember closing out a friends wedding reception with a small mosh pit of Gen xers moshing to Head Like a Hole.
In your case, a lot of success and happiness! Congrats! 😁
What scares me is couples who picked the Police's "Every Breath You Take" as their wedding song and really didn't get the memo about what it means.
No one paid attention, alas.
