I haven't followed you for years so I wouldn't really know if you've posted this before. I think I saw this back at Twitter before Musk. I didn't make that comment to piss you off if I did, sorry. I think these dudes are locals like they are about since there is a lot of tourism BS by the waters.
No, I'm not at all pissed off! π I was just explaining why I post it.
I was on Twitter up until 6 months ago, then I came here. This video has made the circuit of every social media platform since it went viral. It's amazing.
It just makes my blood boil, the careless, lazy people who don't properly dispose of their fishing line. This kills thousands of critters yearly. Thankful for rescuers like these two men!
FYI, pelicans and herons, etc. regularly hang out close around people fishing at places like that in Florida looking for handouts - which they get. So they get pretty comfortable with each other.
Still masterful how easily the man handled it though!
To me, too! I love seeing people helping out animals just because they can. Just because they care. Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment, Jessi. Made my day π π¦ΈββοΈπͺππ
A magnificent bird is a Pelican, his beak can hold more than his bellican, I donβt know how the hellican!! My awesome grandma taught me that cute poem when I was a little kid. It cracked me up then, and it still does now!! οΏΌπππ
