Congratulations! I just hit 17 years cancer free! I had stage 4 metatastic melanoma and less than a year to live. My oncologist urged me to try a new immunotherapy treatment which was just being tested. After 9 months of IL2, I am delighted to be known as a cancer survivor! We are warriors!
I am so glad that I was able to meet you. You helped me through a very dark place in my life. I was blessed to meet someone with so much kindness and understanding.
Jessi, you may recall from long-gone TWTR acct that I, too, am a survivor (Stage IIIb + lymphoma). In remission but remain under active treatment for some serious side-effects.
What's so rare about you: remarkable 100% total recovery.
Now That's a miracle, and what gives us faith in Your faithππβοΈ
It's not rare - it depends on the type of cancer, along with the grade and stage. π As far as ramifications from multiple surgeries and cancer treatment side effects, they have nothing to do with the length of time that I've been a cancer survivor. And that's what I'm celebrating here ππ
I'm glad you like them.....wanted to send you something special on a special day, and I know you love animals and people, esp cute kids)
Take careβ£οΈ and thanks for all you do to bring joy into our livesπ
Congratulations, Jessi! π May you have many more years filled with peace, love and joy!! Thank you for being you and for being a bright and loving light. You'll never know how many hearts you have touched with your kindness. π

Yur fren,

None of us knows what heart ache and challenges others have faced or are currently facing. Thus the need for kindness to others and animals in our lives!
And look at the good you've done in that time, all the joy you've brought people.
I actually believe that some of the videos you've shared have changed my life a little bit for the better. No just by cheering me up, but by reminding me of the goodness in all of us creatures.
What a sweet thing to say. Thank you for sharing that with me. ππ» π
If I can make just one person smile, especially during bad times, then my heart is full.
Well your heart should be at bursting point βcoz there are a lot of pple out here who are touched by your contributions! Thank you for being youππΎ
You earn it everyday!! Always at the right time with something far better than the world around us!
You rock my friend! You make OUR world better! Thanx β€οΈβπΌ
And a ray of hope and light to all of us here. β€οΈ Youβve reached an important milestone, Jessi. Iβm so glad you are here with us. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Jessi, this is the first time you have ever posted about yourself, except vacay time.
You, my dear are the Queen of Good Will passing more positive images and statement than anyone but maybe Tibor. I think of Tibor more the Yoda, all knowing all wise of bsky. Never about yourself just spreading joy
I don't post about myself, and I keep my boys private, but this is something that I post every year (see below for last year's post on Twitter.)
I'm well aware that I'm one of the lucky ones, and I'm grateful for every single day that I get to be with my loved ones and friends (like you!) β€οΈ
I am aware you keep your personal life separate, however I am still in awe of you. I know the feeling of beating cancer almost 40+ years ago for me. It is a wonderful feeling going for a check up, nothing there. I know the feeling, REJOICE! never saw the post on twitter Sorry.
Omgosh no apology - I miss a gazillion things on social media!
And I'm in awe of you! I didn't realize you were a cancer survivor, and I'm so glad that you fought it and won. And that we ended up here together, getting to share in our sisterhood! β€οΈ
Woohoo, congratulations! Itβs survivorship stories like yours that have motivated me and my research group for more than 30 years. Everyday we are one step closer to eradicating cancer from the face of the earth. Onward π§ͺπ§ͺπ§ͺ
My son is a cancer survivor after 2 stem cell transplants. Diagnosed in 2008 and many many treatments. Every year itβs a celebration for cancer survivors.
Oh my goodness Jessi! I didn't know. I'm so grateful for you being a 16 year survivor! Much love and support. π It's always the nicest, sweetest ones.
