Apparently the timestamps are not only still in the metadata, but they’re an intrinsic part of a tweet’s id schema. So either he has a different reason or is just proposing an off the cuff solution for a problem space he doesn’t understand (which he does tend to do sooooo)

While there is a good possibility that is the reason, an alternative suggestion might be Casino People Management.

You will NEVER see a clock in a casino, because players might figure out they've been playing for many more hours than they think.
