Iirc part of the issue is that ICE are seen as wildly dangerous to work with, because they’re heavily armed and poorly trained.

there are dems and independents in red states. even though Texas is a red state almost 1/2 of the state voted blue. my county had 80% vote red but the cities are pretty blue.
