The justices were unanimous that the Trump administration can't designate people as enemies and hustle them off in the dead of night without access to the courts.

The majority says the government must provide people enough notice that they can "actually seek habeas relief in the proper venue."

BREAKING: The Supreme Court, on a 5-4 vote, ends the TROs in the Alien Enemies Act litigation, holding challenges must be brought in habeas and in the jurisdiction in which detainees are held. The court also holds that notice and an actual opportunity to bring a habeas case must be given.
