Many lives taken bc they're so small. It's an unethical way to get a meal. If they're migrating birds, could other European countries claim they're killing ours? <50% decline in UK songbirds since 1970. How many of these were residents, how many were seasonal visitors that passed through Cyprus?

Some of the birds are endangered, so it’s not about population control.
It’s probably more about weak men wanting to feel macho by cruelly killing defenceless small birds in the name of primitive tradition than about feeding their families.
