There is a side quest in the new Indiana Jones game that’s clearly inspired by PT that explores Indy’s past and it’s one of the coolest things they’ve ever done with the character. I am begging you all to play this game.

Such an incredible game, I was enjoying the story so much that I rushed through the main story, I need to go back and do a do everything run because the side content looks just as insane.
I've really been thinking about it, co-workers say they love it. I'll admit I was a little surprised at the "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam (last I checked), which can be hit-and-miss for me.
I make a point to at least skim through Steam reviews because sometimes the negative ones that drag down an overall rating are for the stupidest things. On the other hand, sometimes they make good points and I can judge for myself whether their non-recommendation is valid for me.
Fair point. And even as I said that, I'm obsessed with Flight Simulator 2024 while a bunch of people are still screaming about bugs/flaws that honestly don't bother me that much.
It's both, really. There are a ton of realism settings you can toggle. Even in Career Mode you can skip stages like pre-check and taxi and get in the air in no time. Heck, even in "Free Flight" mode you can *start* in the air and take in the scenery.
I know the very mission. It’s a pity it is. A side quest as having it as part of the main storyline would have been better. Still fun though, even though it did take me four goes to realise I needed to run AWAY from the nephalim
Would you recommend it to someone who really does not like Indiana Jones? I find the movies to be kinda boring. But I like story-driven adventure video games. Would this game maybe be a more exciting way for me to participate in the IP?
I only kinda like the movies but loved the game. it takes the best of the movies and gives it more time making it more of an adventure. If you wanna try it out for less than $70 the old chronicles of riddik game and the darkness 1 share a lot with this game and are totally worth playing too!
I never played PT, but I know exactly the sequence you're talking about. While I thought it was extremely cool, I actually got kind of frustrated at one point, because I wasn't sure what the game wanted me to actually do. (I did eventually figure it out after a few loops though.)
i'm sure it's a good game but i still love what northernlion said about how, in his 30s, he's still too young to care about an indiana jones video game lmao
P.T. (Playable Teaser), a famous horror demo released by Konami in 2014. It was directed by Hideo Kojima and served as a teaser for a cancelled Silent Hills game. P.T. became legendary for its psychological horror elements, looping corridor design, and cryptic storytelling
I can't afford the game right now, but I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark earlier this week just for the catharsis of watching Harrison Ford punch Nazis.
I just finished the Vatican zone and made it to Gizeh. What's PT and what side quest should I keep an eye out for? Also, I'm loving this game. The vibes are perfect. They truly made a playable Indiana Jones movie and I've been giddy and grinning the entire time. 🤠
Can you hint at where it is? I know I missed some collectibles by the time I finished but I thought I had most of the field work done. There was a mind-bending one in Sukhothai that I thought was superb, but I'm not sure that's the one you mean
If I had a nickel for every game that had a PT-inspired sequence, I'd have... a lot of nickels.
Wild how this short demo became SO insanely influential, and even wilder that we never got the full thing because Konami upper management are dumbasses.

Is it just full out aviation geekery, or is it fun for more casual aviation fans?
Phenomenal game.
Also, wtf dude? It's Indiana Jones!
Enjoyed the heck out of it, but wanted more. Felt like it SHOULD have more…
