This was such a great episode. Especially for the horror of witnessing/writing about this trial and virulent misogyny.
One thing I keep thinking about is how rapey/abusive men think that if the victim "won't remember" then no harm was actually done. Another intersection of Pellicot and pedophilia.

As a trans woman who tried to live as and amongst men for most of her life, this isn’t news to me.
I know a lot of wonderful inclusive men. Even they will use casual misogyny around other men.
Most are mostly decent most of the time. But few have the character to call out the dehumanising language

Moira I cried. The end part about feminist having to suppress our knowledge and instincts to be able to function, it hit me so hard. Manon was brilliant. I was also disappointed with how the men I know interacted with this trial. I wanted to scream and punch. They barely knew about it.
