What I did
-learned SpaceX would not exist without 396 million govt habdout it got in 2006
-learned Elons stake in Tesla was bailed out by a 465 million loan in 2010
-watched Elon blow up his pr image
-came to realize a lotta rich people want fascism
• I remembered a person
• I remembered a woman
• I remembered a man
• I remembered a camera
• I remembered a TV
• I couldn't remember whether bullet list items should end in a period. What's the DOGE house style?
is everyone supposed to say what decisions they’re preparing? how do u avoid pre decisional, non-FOIA-able info? ppl working on unawarded contracts disclose awards that haven’t happened or vendor info?
if you exclude that will it harm your ability to report what and you did? fucking minefield.
Is one email fielding all of these emails?? For the entire federal workforce? I hope everyone puts read receipts on them so even more work is required by the receiver. All of it is so immensely stupid!
Oh good point re: the “.gov”- still, they are stupid and I’ll have fun and just imagine it makes it through! I’m drafting and not sure if I go serious, “I’m not a traitor like you,” route or just send Star Wars quotes 🤔
The Melon head knows he can’t find anything or he is clueless on how to find whatever it is he is looking for… so he assigns homework, assignment due Monday morning, but have it timed stamped on Sunday night for extra credit…. #MelonheadandMangoface
A proper response:
- followed all applicable federal laws
- performed my job in the context of the relevant federal laws
- did not violate federal law
- executed job related tasks as prescribed by federal law
- continued to not violate federal law
OPM doesn’t supervise the federal workforce - they set and push out HR policy. Unless each agency endorses this and instructs their employees to follow it, I don’t see how OPM can compel this.
This email is an instant affront to like 10 million people (fed workers and their families). As much as he is poisoning our democracy he is creating an army of pissed off normies. Whether or not that can turn into a decisive opposition remains to be seen.
I just sent an email letting them know what I did this week. I’m retired so I’ll have time to send them some more keeping them abreast of my exciting daily life.
Now would be a really cool time for election interference evidence to come out and proof of Elon’s meddling in elections across the world. NATO, we are waiting.
Has anybody identified the "reply to address" for this farcical email? I personally know scores of people who'd love to share their week's accomplishments.
If you’ve done directed to not do work this past week wonder how one could really respond without seeming to have disobeyed that order - what a nightmare
Can federal employees sue Elon Musk for harassment? Not just injunctions to stop firing, but for monetary damages for creating abusive and hostile working conditons?
Obvs points:
1. Not every fed is working Monday.
2. Not every fed's job involves using a computer and doing email constantly.
3. Pathetic management style.
4. Freakishly illegal - at this point I think they're just trying to saturate the legal system so they can keep on illegaling.
Trump: lied, signed some stuff I didn’t read, golf, golf, golf
Musk: great mine fuhrer, all is going according to my plan, just call me Dr Evil, and give me more money
This is the same play as his "most salient lines of code" thing when he took over Twitter. It's another demonstration of his ability to sound managerial without having any clue at all how managing works.
Does not seem coincidental that this comes right as public vibe/narrative on DOGE shifts with town halls and rough polls; clearly trying to gin up some new talking points, like “X-thousand feds couldn’t even name five things they did last week!” and/or cherry-pick some goofy examples
Supported Putin by abandoning Ukraine & European allies and lying about them
Wasted $5 million in taxpayer money on trip to Daytona Motor Speedway
Played four rounds of golf
Lost lots of lawsuits
Threatened Maine’s Governor with loss of federal funds if she didn't obey him
Oh, it's a harassment/"I'm a tough guy" tactic; but I wouldn't be surprised, too, if they're trying a "don't look incompetent" method of discerning what a position is, so they don't repeat the firing of nuclear safety personnel and bird flu experts and such.
Respond with “ Mr. Musk, Pl confirm under what authority you are seeking this information, also please confirm your security clearance status.”
Any response from Musk would be exhibit A in court filing challenging their filing that said Musk is not in charge of Doge.
Answer: Before I comply with this directive, please provide me with documentation that this is a lawful request being made by a person or office that is authorized to make it so that I can have my lawyer and union rep review it.
Where is the judiciary? Musk is making a mockery of them by lying in court while openly running the federal government as an unelected dictator outside of court.
I really worry about the hellstew of a man with unlimited money and capacity to deceive...a captive justice dept... AND our judicial system which has heretofore relied on the implied threat of contempt and perjury charges.
These judges need to do something that keeps them from becoming irrelevant

It’s either completely bogus or they have some hairbrained “analyze it with AI” plan.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They work for the people..If they are sitting home collecting paychecks for doing nothing then GTFO..

The effect is to appear ... incompetent.

I strategized on how rural hospitals can create diversity in their income streams through inclusion of transitional equity.

Before Musk lectures others he should show what he is doing and be transparent about his role & power. Maybe apartheid South Africa had a 👑. We don't.
No way DOGE will be reading something like 2 million replies.
Which makes prompt injection a hilarious possibility.
