In the immediate days after 9/11, I was driving home on the and I saw traffic was unusually slowing past a car in the right lane which was going 40mph. The driver was a man wearing a Sikh Dastar and he was holding the steering wheel in a death grip.
I think about that guy a lot in terms of freedom, security, biases, etc...
Loads of drivers were literally just cruising past him, thinking about whether or not to do something 'about' him... I wonder how many people didn't just because it wasn't convenient.
This bit doesn’t work as well if it’s a middle-eastern looking man who has led a protest on a university campus & has a “free Palestine” bumper sticker, eh?
But yes, for sure, if you’re a member of the KKK, heck, you could do anything you want…like, say, dismantle all government agencies!
I believe that fits right in though. It's hypocritical that you can join the klan with no reprocussions but you can't protest in favor of Palestinians without being enemy number one.
Only in USA
Canada I do not believe anyone would even wear a klan outfit for hallowe’en

The best comedians are often simultaneously the most brilliant social commentators. They can see things clearly, often more clearly than the rest of us.
Mark Maron, Bill Burr, Colbert, that kind.
Some of the best poets of history were in a similar vein, the best social commentators and comedians.

We stuck in traffic while they get to keep a land they can find somewhere else.
free to rant
Yeah, in this country you can do that. The alternative has been tried, and it’s worse.
Me: Oh my god?
Or is my typing so horrendous that I fail at a search?
He knew he might not make it home that day.
