I'm glad Sinners is succeeding because it sounds like it's a hell of a movie. (Haven't seen, but even people I know who don't like it are GRAPPLING with it.) But I also like that its success singlehandedly dismantles, like, seven different corrosive lies Hollywood has told itself in the last decade.

Filmmakers who don't have talent or financial support which Coogler has built across 4 movies are going to need to fight as hard as Robert Townsend and Spike Lee did.
My only point is the Fast and Furious has been formulaic for over 10 years and haven't opened the door for more casts much less writers and directors behind the screen that a % of what Ryan Coogler have to offer. Hope helps.
