The more I think about Captain America: It Takes a Nation of Red Hulks to Hold Us Back, the more disappointed I am that Marvel refuses to engage with the Isaiah Bradley story. A Black soldier victimized and brutalized by the US government all to replicate Steve Rogers? Seems narratively juicy…

One week later: Entertainment fails to be our salvation.
And the privilege Steve Roger’s had of being a white, juiced to the tits Super Soldier captain America. He could say “no, you move”
Also: I find it darkly ironic that the Isaiah Bradley story is being silenced - much like Isaiah Bradley himself was. 🤷🏻♂️😒
However, him telling that soldier "I'm the hero" instead of "I'm the REAL leader," is wack. What a wasted opportunity.
A story that nothing is inevitable, just forced upon...
1 - Origin
2 - Incarceration
3 - Release and reintegration
in society
That medium gives stories more time and room to develop the plot.
