all the linear algebra libraries that modern AI depends on are linked to BLAS C code.
can't get out of its own way.
runs like rubbish on its own on the Python interpreter.
can't be used on any significant app that demands performance.
rsky uses Postgres instead of SQLite ‘to make the PDS easier to migrate between cloud hosting providers and more maintainable’.
Usually sqlite is ‘the easy option’, but I guess in this case the reference PDS is using it in a more complicated (distributed) way?
