I still remember the Big Breakfast postal address and can rattle it off by heart. 2 Lock Keepers Cottages Old Ford Lock London E3 2NN. I can't even remember the address I was living in at the time but that one will stay with me until the day I die.

I remember the old Swap Shop phone number 01 811 8055
Or Radio 1's address at London W1A 4WW
And an address that probably changed when post codes came in -
Granada TV,
Manchester 3
I often wondered if Swap Shop meant a direct swap between two people, or you put in your "goods" & the team despatched it to someone who wanted it and the team waited until your wanted good(s) turned up, then sent to you ???? or was it all a pretend con?
I can still remember the Swap Shop phone number: 01 811 8055 and the phone number of the house I grew up in.
I literally know no other phone numbers these days.
Memory's weird & annoying. It would probably be better if I could remember important info & details from my early teens, rather than the reg number of a particular police car that would regularly harass me & my underage cider-drunk pals, as we staggered around town on a Friday night.
And when both 96.3 Radio Aire and Atlantic 252 still existed and Countdown was still filmed in Leeds (and had Twice Nightly talking bollocks on it). I still miss the legends that were Harry Gration and Mike Morris. Look North and Calendar just aren't the same without them.
If you input the full number into your android phone like you're about to call it, when you press the final 3 the call button changes colours and the phone buzzes!

Somebody’s voluntary marketing efforts were WAY too good to be wasted on an ad for a community radio one-off fundraiser party, for which I can remember the date, time, venue and the name they gave the party. And I can sing the jingle they wrote for the ad.
It was. Also Saturday AM kids’ shows that before and/or after Going Live. And Crimewatch UK before freephone. I remember it with the old London (01 then 081) codes too.
Along with my current mobile number, my childhood number and the kebab shop when I was a student, the only numbers I now remember!
I can remember the words to a local radio advert song for pick your own fruit from the '80s.
I still have to double check my wife's birth date when booking holidays.

I can’t remember a lot about the format, just the presenters and the main desk. Yet I watched it every single week.
01 811 8055 is?
I heard this on local radio one night. One. And it's still there in my head.
(Also I miss the Big Breakfast)

I hope someone paid for Cool Edit. I don’t know how many times I typed this in but it’s a permanent resident now.
I really miss Harry Gration, the man was a national treasure.
Aye lass, them were t'days them were.
Also, being up in Scotland now, I don't half miss Cooplands.
And the Telly Rellies jingle lives in my head.
Because I'm a sad anorak, I've got copies of most of their radio ads. ...I'll double check later!

handy when you need to put a fake postcode in a website.
The party was in 1987.
Remember the number, not the show - think it might have been Going Live.
