They trust any source that validates their hates, excites their fears and delivers any corrupted information to confirm what they already wish to know. Democrats are going to have a hard time countering this paradigm with facts, regardless of the conduit for such. Facts are boring as hell.

Democratic strategist James Carville is assembling pollsters to conduct an extensive survey on media consumption, a major knowledge gap for the Democratic party:
“We have to start asking ourselves, where do these people get their information? What do they trust? What do they not trust?”

OTOH, this approach is about finding out where people hang out and how they think, not talking AT them, the failed Dem strategy.
