I do not think in the year 2025 that we should continue to accept a reality which sees women paid just $0.75 for every $1 men are paid for doing the same job.
If we want to achieve economic justice in this country — that means equal pay for equal work.
If we want to achieve economic justice in this country — that means equal pay for equal work.

Definitely happens to guys.
So I assume it happens to women
Men and women are fundamentally different and make different choices
"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex."
What you perceive to be a pay gap is more so a job gap. For reasons I’m not sure of, woman often choose careers and jobs that don’t pay as much as their male counterparts
Elon is offering money for votes in the Wisconsin election on April 1st. He is spending millions of dollars.
Is there a way to stop this kind of naked corruption of voters?
How are we, the masses, going to stop what is happening right now? That's why we have elected officials. Elected officials who should be making sure we have free elections going forward, not repeating what we already know.
Btw Bernie has been fighting for equity before it was fashionable to do so.
The Republicans get things done no matter their circumstances, so why can't the other side?
The fact there is a convict in the Whitehouse and the sh!t-show now, means how POWERLESS politicians are!

all power comes from the masses or armed forces, it’s not inherent. now is the time to show you are ready to show up and go against a tyrannical government. and when they start their violent oppression you have to keep that up.
trump is increasingly overriding the senate’s powers and overreaching. that is the problem. the disempowerment of elected officials
that power has to be brought back but it needs to come from the people
seriously though, showing a united popular body against the powers that be is vital right now
This post would be more impactful if he shared what actions he's taking, rather than just stating the obvious. We already know this, especially women. It's been a problem for decades. What’s actually being done about it?
One moment, one hour, one day at a time.

Which is it?
For me, it's a deal breaker.
We all need to think like Senator Sanders so the world ends up a better place.
Sorry, I know I'll take stink for this but this man is no saint in my book. Better than some, worse than others.
You have a chance to save your country before it's too late. Take it.
We've been preaching this for decades, and it just doesn't seem to sink in.
California pays $1.00 and gets back $0.75 in federal taxes
Mississippi pays $1.00 and gets back $1.20
I'm okay paying extra, but can we even it out just a little? (Unlike president, I don't demand a thank you! )
Men ain't got nothing to do with it.
Especially White Angry Sexist Politicians!
DOWN WITH THE PATRIARCHY
As usual, Democrat party loves to divide, create hate as a way to gain power
This is why people should unionize and vote for presentatives who care about workers, not billionaires.
Much love from Finland. 🇫🇮
I'd like to know your opinion of WHY women vote Republican.
I have my own opinion, but I'd like to hear yours.

Selfish bosses believe they deserve a 20% raise because they saved money by firing 20% of employees.
Obviously still bad, and definitely something to fix, but we can't just make up statistics.

Most recent evaluations list the unexplained pay gap as less than 5%.

Physical jobs that a womans body isn't suited to because of science, what are we supposed to say?
Is it unfair? Sure, I guess, we're not built the same. I don't expect the 1% of bricklayers that are women to demand more women enter that job.
Do you, Senator?
Bernie mentioned same job for a reason
I said 'sure' to same job. I ask about jobs that aren't the same.
I'd like to point out to you than in the job market, if you can't do the job because you aren't physically able to, you don't get the job.
If you think a senator with 400k+ followers is gonna be replying to your obtuse comment about a conversation unrelated to what he posted, you need a reality check.
I've been responded to by people with more than 400k followers just speaking the truth. Not sure why that matters.
I want science, truth, and our republic to survive this assault by traitors.
Economic justice, by the by, would be you, a sitting senator, removing the tax breaks billionaires and giant companies get, then actually raising the minimum wage to a living wage, then remove the right to work horseshit.
Until you can get the other millionaires and on up to make these changes, the rage in this country is going to continue rising until terrible events occur that rip us apar--oh, nevermind. 🙄
For instance, I've been a software engineer for over 10 years. I make $100k/yr, and there are very few women in this field.
Ultimately, occupations like nursing and teaching should be paid more. We also need better family leave laws
Bernie can take the moral high ground but if it's just him and a handful of others?
Perhaps after Trump stuff someone will have the courage to "Amend" things?
If you are in a Red district, let them know how you feel.
In fact, we don't make the top 50 in the many traits/categories that makes a nation good & great
We should be ashamed to show our faces to humanity in fact
Equity must be Achieved.

ALL of these require transferable skills that are desirable in the workplace & I have included them in my resumes/ CVs to strong effect (it also gives interviewers more subjects to discuss w/ job seekers)

.......but here we are.....
Feminazis don't like kids and don't have them. Those women who do have kids put the kids before career. Result? They aren't doing over-time because they leave on time for the kids. Thus their paycheck is lower. It's women's own choices doing this.
For single & working women, this affects their day-to-day reality. I think it's pretty egregious that it often comes down to a decision of having to feed themselves or feed their kids
by the way, you too be a part of that by attending the pro democracy protests near you on april 5th:

All those in favor say " I"
I vote " I"
We can do so much better!
I absolutely support equal pay. But let’s be clear on one thing: If companies were ACTUALLY able to get away with paying women 25% less, there wouldn’t be any men in the workforce at all.
Physical jobs and more hours are not factors.
It’s a simple regression analysis.
It adjusts to see the true wage gap.
Pretty low stakes position honestly
He is constantly talking about other issues so I don’t see this post as a problem
The changes needed now are more social than they are political, and that takes time.
Boomers dying might help
