I understood when they said they wanted to repeal the 20th Century, I am somehow still taken aback at the desire to to repeal the 18th Century and it seems much of the 17th Century too
I think one of the administration's lawyers is gonna end up citing the Newburgh letter that suggested that maybe Washington should take the title "King of the United States" and they'll just conveniently ignore the fact that Washington replied that that he was dismayed anyone would even suggest it.
