If you do a deep dive on what OMDC aka Ontario creates is funding, it's like 10% cdn and massive USA leechers make up most of the rest. Worst being Amazon and Netflix. Both have been hiring known abuser producers too. They do not check proper references and hire sharks.
But they are getting a truck load of money and we get film crews worked into the ground and the kids of crew in therapy because their work conditions are so poorly eroded.
Film crew work 12-14hr minimum days. It's fucking killing my friends.

I think he’s pissed now and only stopped the starlink contract last time because the tariffs were paused. It’s perfect ha cancelled starlink now and that will defiantly help our Canadian companies get contracts.
Unfortunately, Elon won’t care. He doesn’t care about losing $44 billion on Twitter. He’s not gonna care about losing the starlink lcontract with Ontario. I’m happy to see him not care about losing all his money. It’ll be interesting when he gets down to not being able to afford security!

Only because Trump backed off on the tariffs that time. Besides, the kerfuffle has had follow-on effects: those bourbons will be gathering dust or marked for clearance thanks to consumer boycotts which are likely to continue long after the tariffs are lifted.
Dump put a pause on tariffs to gather more information from his staff supposedly. So Ford put it on pause. As a Canadian I want Starlink cancelled I do not want him medaling in our election process as he did in US
