Go, talk to people, organized meetings, build neighborhood watches.
Keep an eye on people who are part of a minor group and ring an alarm if ICE is out to catch them.

NYC's population is 8 million, half as many.
Where would you expect these 8 million Americans congregate?
Denver? Dallas? DC? NYC? LA? Seattle? Miami? KC? Atlanta?
Where? Where would 8 million people gather, and how would they get there?
My point is that our demonstrations will never appear to have the same impact as some abroad because of how large our country is. We have had multiple large protests across the country in various cities, but they pale against those in other countries.
I'm surrounded by people who refuse to engage because "politics" is so corrupt, no one cares about me, anyway. Yeah, that's what they want, for you to give up.
America is flirting with authoritarianism because America doesn't know any better.
It's always been a democratic republic and those who think it's a better system are in for the shock of their lifetime.
