either it looted it without your consent via some loophole (this sort of shit has happened on android in the past), or the app abuses some other clever side channel bullshits to gain access to stuff. or you let linkedin have it, and THEY sold it, etc
you cant run adblock or ublock "inside an app", so that app can hit all their ad endpoints
not everyone runs pihole or pfblocker at the network level.
