I wonder if spreading extremely encouraging experimental results on helping treat pancreatic cancer with *gasp* mRNA vaccines may help people who have villainized them come around. This is a good press release on the study and links to the Nature paper. https://www.mskcc.org/news/can-mrna-vaccines-fight-pancreatic-cancer-msk-clinical-researchers-are-trying-find-out

Jr at the helm.
Most of the rest believe vaccines are bad because their uncle Fred or that guy who fixes their cars said so.
It's just the top 15%, and they already know.

Reason does not work with unreasonable people.
I refused the mRNA Covid vaccines because of the risk/benefit ratio for me.
People with pancreatic cancer have a different risk/benefit ratio.
Perhaps people will approach mRNA vaccines differently from a therapeutic vs preventative perspective?
Scientists cannot believe that reason and study are the tools to fight an ever-growing anti-science movement.
Public opinion is not about truth; it's about who they trust.
It turned out I didn't have it, but I am immensely pleased there is a better therapy on the way.
Sadly still no therapy for stupidity.
