When I'm at my parents house and I try browsing through Netflix, it's a genuine rarity to find something interesting
Instead, They might acquire, a missing past season, of an old network show, or a incomplete movie series from the early 2k'sπ₯². But, you could catch whatever's missing for $2-7 on another app. π€£ It's insane.
I've considered getting the physical discs, but my only Blu-Ray player is the PS3 which is 1080p only so I can't get new ones.
Their bubble is about to burst.
Holy smokes
The 15 bucks you'd pay to Netflix for ad-free streaming could get you about 4-7 used DVDs a month. That's 48-84 movies a year, which you just... own. Forever.

Fracturing media across multiple platforms drives people to torrents and dodgy Firesticks. This will be the studios comeuppance
I wouldn't want to even if I did, since a lot of what they have seems uninteresting π€·ββοΈ
Why pay to see more advertisements π€·ββοΈ
There are other ways to see the content on demand anyway π
Iβm just not a subscription person myself.
I disable ads on YouTube evenβ¦
Many years of downloading
YouTube users do upload full movies and they can also be downloaded. That depends on the quality and bit rates they upload.
Its streaming alright, but service?
Yeah, no
I had a 4 minute ad block on Peacock and I was done with them..
Interrupted at the movie theater and at home really is ruining the business.

Me now with 1 service hoping around month to month.
The chase for constant growth is gonna end up being their downfall. You'd think one of these companies would figure out being the consistent cheaper option would bring more people in.
Outside of that, I don't pay for streaming services. I enjoy listening to music.
