I have put over 1100 hours into Stardew Valley. I have achieved perfection in the game multiple times including once with in the first two in game years. And yet, I can not get passed the FIRST level of Journey of the Prairie King.

I think the worst of it is that there’s not save in the middle. You have to win the whole thing in one go. My only comfort is that my husband that’s been gaming forever also can’t get super far 😅 it’s validating to know I’m not alone on this!
I spent last night hiding my repeated failures at Prairie King from my girlfriend as she narrated all the things she was doing that weren't spite-replaying the cabinet at Gus's. I envy the day she had.
I believe the game lets you leave inbetween levels and pick up where you left off? If i’m remember right. If so you can beat a level, sleep to save progress, then if you biff it you just restart the game and continue on until you win. That’s how i beat it on ps4 at least. it saves a lot of sanity
It took me just over a thousand hours to even come close to beating the first level, but once you do it's like a gate opens & you magically get better! The next 12 levels are a breeze 😅
Mood. I’ve put in about the same number of hours (likely more at this point I think) and have done numerous perfection runs, a 100% completionist run, but still have never been able to beat that freaking game!! Argh!! 😖
I am doing my first playthrough on Stardew Valley - it is so lovely to play!! I have not checked out Journey of the Prairie King yet - have to check it out just to see!
To beat the first level, go in the corner (any corner) and fire continuous shots diagonally across the board till the clock runs down. Future levels have different obstructions, but I figured out the first.
I can beat it, but doing so without taking damage is impossible (due to the final boss, how dare she). Junimo Cart, on the other hand, was made in hell
I guess they added some new achievements recently? Cause I was down to only random ones (like the museum) or tedious ones (cooking) or prairie king but now there's a bunch I don't have.

Welp. I know what I have to do now.
Still seems cool though
