Sure, this move will own a lot of trans people who are twice as likely as other Americans to serve in the armed forces, but on the other hand this will absolutely devastate the US cyber command

More to the point, the USA remains a (downgraded) democracy while Russia is an actual autocratic state with a democratic facade.
Project 2025 takes many cues of policy from Russia.
From what I’ve read, China isn’t doing that great economically speaking. And Russia is well known for its violent stance on LGBTQ. They apparently are demanding people make babies. Just as long as they are cisgender straight babies, Putin and his ill ilk will be happy.
I don't disagree on China, but Russia is economically, demographically, and technologically -fucked- right now.
I think Mexico and Brazil are more likely to become economic world powers than Russia.
China's economic issues are salvageable, Russia's really aren't at this point.
china’s economic issues are also pretty widely overstated. they’re just doing the usual government thing of pushing off debts to local governments, they are otherwise pretty decently managed for a capitalist nation-state project. prob cause the managers aren’t ideological capitalists.
Trans people are disproportionately intelligent and skilled compared to cisgender people, so any sector that fails to accommodate trans people serves to weaken itself.
It's important that Trumps bigotry, transphobia &contempt for human life and dignity are properly laid at the feet of his voterbase and their animus, not waved away and externalised as Russian interference... but this shitheaded policy weakening cybercommand is sure going to suit Putin pretty well.
We should draft most of these conservative white straight men to fight in whatever war in Israel the GOP are all behind..... since we're trans and can't fight at all... and they'll kick all LGBTQ out of the military.... like... why would you not let people fight who want to? Everyone's using a gun
I think this is a form of loyalty test. Last time senior leadership resisted the orders until they went through several lawsuits and appeals. Trump wants to bypass that by getting "woke" leadership to reveal itself and then use the leadership review board Musk proposed.
Trump was a draft dodger so it won't bother him if the military are weakened by stripping it of valuable personnel
Hopefully this time top brass will say they can't afford to lose those soldiers
Hopefully the discharges will be honorable. Otherwise we will forever know it as Trump's Dishonorable Discharge. Which doesn't even sound as disgusting as it would actually be.
The best thing Vance could do for us is to 25th Amendment Trump right after his swearing-in, before his motorcade reaches the White House. Coincidentally, that's also the worst thing Vance could do for us.
Here’s the problem (besides the cruelty and injustice)—they’ll be replaced with every oath keeper, three percenter, patriot front neoNazi that previously either couldn’t get in or got kicked out for their extremist views.
I'm so angry right now Ari. Our entire LGBTQ+ community voted for Harris at 86 percent despite her lack of outward support for us on the campaign trail and now this.
Democrats' constant 'vote for us or else' should have given people rushing to enlist or commission after Trump's first term pause. I was worried about this eventuality then. It's like a litany of other issues they never codified protections for. Democrats are running a protection racket.
Yep, we understood the assignment like every Black person (Black men didn't abandon the Dems) and Jewish women. The rest of the marginalized demos voted for Harris below 80 percent based on the last chart I saw about this.
I remember last time he tried that shit, I was active coast guard, and our commandant refused to follow the order saying it was unlawful. Made me damn proud of my branch that day.

He's counting on his orange puppet to break up NATO and weaken the US military
Wait for the orange felon to announce US troop withdrawals from Europe, another item on Putin's wish list

I often think that Chelsea Manning wouldn’t have sent those cables to Wikileaks if she was able to be herself in the military
Because I can do many things but they are a collection of Freudian coping mechanisms.
And that's about all.
Even WAR MOVIES are like "this soldier that is 5'4" & before war he taught 3rd grade"
Plus more than 50% of the military is non-combat.
You don't need to be jacked to monitor radar or be a mechanic.

How can America be harmed to help Putin
- Weaken the military
- Weaken the DOJ
- Erode civil order
- Alienate our allies
The goal is to destroy as much as possible.
He'll not find this as easy to do as he thinks.
Provoked we could shut it all down
