to all cat owners reading this, I think you should give your cat a treat right now. Your cat has been so good and so patient and is so hungry so surely they deserve a treat do they not?

Yesterday I was SURE I had picked up all debris in my pasture and my cat supervised the entire job, crisscrossing the area. I was putting up my tools when supervisor meowed and sat down! Apparently I missed something! Guess who got a reward!
The Queen is currently taking a nap. By a well-known precept of Feline Law, She is Not To Be Disturbed. I will comply with instructions re: treat dispersal when Her Majesty awakens from her Royal slumber.
My cat Gigi reminded me she bit me twice today, drawing blood. She wants the treat as you directed noting the usual day is 5 bites and 3 scratches. The day is young.
Absolutely not. She is refusing the new food and we are in a state of psychological warfare (she has her regular dry food before someone pipes up about her being starved)
Haha, Purrseus is a grand ol' chonk too. They're not hobbit by cat size standards, but rather by the fact that they demand second breakfast, Elevensies, tea, etc.
Purrseus was ALWAYS directly underfoot as a kitten. I learned quickly I had to look behind me while cooking or risk tragedy.
Nice try. Mine jumped to the top of the fridge, locked over the Churu container, and chewed through several packets because he was caught. Of course, I split them with his cohort, who lacks the ability due to age.
So, no. They do not deserve a treat right now, thank you.
Sorry you got hoodwinked by these cats pretending like they get no treats and are starving...they get 4 per day cause both are a little voluptuous πΉ
And a treat doesn't have to be food. I just got up from a 30 minute 'nap' with the Queen Dizzy.
Presently holding Princess Esther.
They love cuddle time.
Why did Feral Fawcett sense your message? She's been napping on the heated blanket but just as I read this opened her eyes and gave me a plaintive "mrrp"
Yes, your cat definitely deserves a treat. They've worked so hard todayβenduring the agony of an empty food bowl (for 10 whole minutes), bravely sitting in that box, and knocking over exactly one glass. Heroic, really. Give the little tyrant what they want.
She gets treats twice a day and it is proof she has a concept of time of day. The dog gets jealous so he gets treats too. Sometimes he goes and gets her to beg for extra treats. They are con artists.
Unless they are overweight. In that case, be a good parent and tell them they have to wait until dinner time because obesity-related diseases in cats (and humans) are not nice.
Is your cat fat?
Because at least 75% of the pics getting posted are terrible owners who hurt their pets and shorten their life with obesity.
Pets don't need treats, unless it's rare and small. Not if you love them.
They aren't humans. Animals without egos are perfectly content without treats.
I gave Jenny a Churu not 5 minutes before I read this post. Starting to wonder if I have a kitty with additional special powers (her cuteness is a superpower).
I have no treats. I am a bad cat owner. Tbf, I feed one cat constantly all day.. and she's a toothpick. My other cat, eats a single can a day but is twice as big as he should be. (noooo he doesn't eat the other cat's food π )

Refreshing post:)
...thank you, internet, from Team Underfoot!
You can't even really appreciate how enorm these two are from this picture, they own my life
Purrseus was ALWAYS directly underfoot as a kitten. I learned quickly I had to look behind me while cooking or risk tragedy.
Iβll do it when he wakes up.
So, no. They do not deserve a treat right now, thank you.
I gave two treats at night,
I gave two treats in the afternoon,
It makes me feel Allright...
I gave two treats in times of war,
and two in times of peace,
I gave two treats and then I gave two treats,
and then I gave two more...

They love cuddle time.
They can get their snacks after their nap π

Hes going to have to wait π€

We both get to starve tonight.
