If you had to erase one drug from all existence because its a real pain in the arse what would it be?
And why is it bendroflumethiazide?

"Oh you ate one more bean than you normally do? Well that's butchered your INR for the next month"
Sodium Nitroprusside - it’s just waiting till dawn to kill you
Cefalexin - the amlodipine of antibiotics
Tramadol - the cefalexipine of analgesics.
(Amlodipine is brill. Just not when someone wants to bring down a BP of 230/120 in Crit care)
Sufentanyl is 👑
Great if you like inducing reflux, vomiting, fits, and dysrhythmias.
Useless if you want people to breathe better.
For example chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, best evidence is observational pointing to higher clot burden with DOACS compared to warfarin.
Welcome to East Anglia.
Take a look around
We have trepanning and arsenic
And witches to be drowned…
Also fospropofol, alfentanil and probably metoclopramide
Not cos of the spelling because I learned a trick for that (IIYI)
But it’s just icky. I’m not convinced of its efficacy IRL, and I see people (mainly elderly) ending up on increasing doses and all the side effects that come with it.
Pain to make

1st infusion usually means vomit 🤢
& theres no space in majors so trying to hang a drip in a corridor next to chairs 🪑 then the patient will invariably go outside to smoke interrupting the infusion or dislodge the third cannula I had only just put in 👀🫣😬
