I am very angry. Which is weird for me because I don't usually get angry. (Depressed is more my speed). But I am very angry at the cowards, the betrayers of our oath, the colleagues who joined my profession but now abandon any pretense of pursuing the ideals of the rule of law.

There's too much cowardice, too little bravery. Especially from those with too much.
NAACP lawyers traveled to the South and sued for integration even though they were not allowed to sleep in the local hotels.
And today law firms won't sign their name to a brief because they are scared.
That is not my profession.
Aren’t we supposed to be fighters?
IT IS AVARICE.
When the "fear" is merely concern over potential loss of profit, prominence and privilege, the motivating animus is AVARICE.
Disgusted by our profession. It is being rendered meaningless...mere window dressing so plutocracy can wear a facade of legitimacy.
but i'm glad for your outrage
in a way, we are the naive ones believing that the constitution still matters with a tyrant in power, but I hope we are right.
in order to be right, though, we need to gain power.

Stages of grief, one is anger.
My first instinct was
Welcome to class, but I am a former teacher ( thanks Rick Scott for the struggle).
But, in sympathy, I say that it’s a race for the low, funnel keg puke, and they aren’t caught yet
There’s no Nuremberg looming
Anger and depression can be forms of helplessness. You can't save the world, you can protect and aid your community.
Why?
They are taking our government from us, the people, in a bloodless coup.
They are close to success. They're already talking about election changes.
Everything else is slightly-of-hand.
The camps are running.
People are disappearing.
RESIST!
They’re pathetic coward totally insulated from the deprivations of the Regime yet caved immediately (ie did a Schumer).
Aside from the sheer sycophancy, we would anyone ever trust them to be strong on their behalf.
It’s not sustainable, but it can be a great short term motivator!
if you really want to put pressure on Lawyers, file BAR COMPLAINTS and FORCE the BARS to take action.
(They don't believe in anything)
