I didn't think that your theory was far off. There's a Canadian politician whose wife and boyfriend were found dead in a sealed car. I thought about that today when I heard the news.

I'm guessing he passed and she called it quits as a result. Then one of the dogs got a hold of the pills she used.

Still a possibility of real foul play, but I don't want to speculate on that until it becomes apparent from information given by authorities.
