Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, you all need to get a Gamecube, 4 GBA Link Cables, and 4 Game Boy Advances (preferably SP's) to play properly, but once you do it's an experience like no other lmao.
Probably Minecraft; with different mod setups you can have a big variety of gameplay from building and decoration, to homesteading or tech advancement, and even adventuring and fighting. You can even switch between cooperative and competitive play.
Minecraft is so versatile of a game that it can be used as a game engine. Whilst I wouldn’t say it’s the best game ever, it’s versatility allows for almost any play experience which makes it perfect for this otherwise unfortunate scenario
My mind was immediately drawn towards my favourite story games. Like Kingdom Hearts 2 or The World Ends with You.
BUT. Those are Games you play like once or twice every few years at max.
For a game you can always play for the rest of your Life... it's gotta be Minecraft.
Or Baldurs Gate 3 with Mods.
Coin flip of Team Fortress 2 or Tales of Maj'eyal. One large group of people won't be able to enjoy video games for the rest of their lives regardless of which side the coin falls.

The foundations of religious mecha psychobabble jrpgs must be preserved.
Fable 1.
Disco Elysium.
I can't pick. So one of those.
😈
I love it. 😂
Spore (2008)
(or Titanfall 2)
Plus those who think they don't like it will come to see the good aspects (I hope 😅)
Can't go wrong with this one.
