Treated classified information with more care than the administration. Amazing that their response is to try and smear the guy... How about addressing the leak!???
Absolutely DISGUSTED with the way Felon47 and his top echelon Cabinet members are minimizing, obfuscating, and bold face lying about this gargantuan breach of security. The literal criminals are in charge, and Congressional Republicans MUST hold them accountable or our republic is doomed.🤯🤬🤯
You know as they all lied about the situation I was like "Hey guys, he has the rest of the text conversation so you should really be cautious about lying." And, bc they were so stupid as to have doubled down, Goldberg called 'em on it. Bravery & contrition could have won but cowardice did instead.
Thank you for that. I’m sure harm was intended. But, like everything else with these clowns, at least for now, that seems to have backfired. The Atlantic’s and Mr. Goldberg’s reputations seem to have been enhanced.
Yes. So many people and institutions who had far more money and resources folded in the most cowardly way (looking at you, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, Paul Weiss). Goldberg and the Atlantic have shown what courage means. Worth a subscription.
Please step back and see this for what it is. They broke the law endangered the mission and national security and released a name of a CIA agent in the clear. But in Trump/Putin's mind even this is a success creating more Division/Chaos for our country.
I’m sure he could have made a fine bit of cash with that info. The people who screwed up would have sold our country out in a hot minute. I appreciate Mr. Goldberg’s integrity.
Giving us all 24 hours of watching those involved lie through their teeth on national television, before publishing the full chat, deserves a Nobel prize for something.
The minute the Felon's crew went after Goldberg, I had to smile. If you're looking for a "press" straw man to beat up on, you could do better than choosing the editor in chief of The Atlantic -- one of America's oldest and genuinely prestigious magazines.
Me, too. I absolutely KNEW that Goldberg and the Atlantic had the receipts. Which- that just further proves just how mendacious and incredibly stupid the FOTUS gang are. They perjured themselves... again! (1st time was Senate hearings.)
Jeff Goldberg has been a close
associate of the “intelligence community” for more than 20 years.

His actions are a great example of something I have talked about- we cannot let MAGA have things both ways- & that's exactly what they want- they want to brag like immature teenagers but somehow maintain same idea that they are somehow serious foreign policy/military experts.
Compared to BOB WOODWARD who waited over a year to reveal trump crimes he recorded all because Bob wanted to wait for his book to b published! ( Bob recorded trump admitting covid is fatal & BFD & gave PPE & ventilators to putin & 0 to USA) Bob buried this info 15 mos!Million USdead YAY Goldberg!
The amount of self control and integrity you’ve gotta have not to respond in that chat and then not to just run it with no regard for the safety of the troops on the ground. Give this man a raise.
I subscribed to @theatlantic.com immediately after he published. Thank you, Mr. Goldberg, for showing courage and professionalism. You may have saved our country. #Democrat pols - take note.
After typically meaningless insults from "the other side." As I watched the hearings, all those testifying from the Signal phone call elicited the word "spineless."
Yeah, hegseth said Goldberg is a discredited hack trying to make a name for himself. In my view, editor of the Atlantic is not someone trying to get to the top of their game—they are there
I trust Jeffrey Goldberg more than the National Security Advisor & Secretary of Defense! He's got more integrity, decency & honor than any of these fking traitors.
Anyone who has any decency would automatically submit their resignation without questions. 😡
Man! What a professional he is! He could have stayed on the chat with them until 2028 without them knowing. But his Patriotism made ring the alarm immediately before our service men and women loose their lives. The man should win awards this year for this. We thank [email protected]
I remember his lawyer threatening the woman who was going to testify against him. I guess she backed down but I sure would like for it to be investigated. Oh wait, the F B I 🙄
If Jeffrey had been the hacker, wouldn't he have leaked the information immediately? I think I know who did it. It was Elon. He did it to change the narrative. That's out there about him and Tesla. That's all we're talking about now.
That's not fair, Woodward, and Bernstein, took Watergate to the edge. In our days he denounced Trump multiple times before writing the books And the books are important historical documents
I agree with those points. I’ve read his books and have respect for him and his work. But holding off on certain information until you can publish a book for your own financial gain is fucked up.
I'd like to think we would all do the same and he did it the right way, reaveled in a way those senators asking the clowns questions already knew the answers. Bravo indeed.
And his patriotism. He withheld these discussions until he knew everything was completed. Others -- including and especially Drumpf -- would have figured how to monetize this by selling it to the Houthis.
Maggie Haberman, John Bolton, William Barr, etc. you can SIT ALL THE WAY DOWN because this man just showed all of you greedy, self-serving and egocentric insiders what is means to put your country and its citizens, not you and your bank accounts, first!
Yes exactly! If he’d been a lesser journalist he could’ve used the information to extort the entire administration or could’ve printed it right away-but he didn’t, he informed the idiots that not only were they careless with our national security but not one of them caught it until to late! Stupids!
The sad thing is he knew their response would be to trash him, he probably could have written the Administration's scripts. Attention White House, Goldberg didn't fuck up, you clowns did.
Here's the question that solves everything. If The Atlantic were to have blasted across the internet "US plans attack in the next 24 hours," wouldn't that either change the US plan of attack, OR, worse, allow all enemies to get to their battle stations? Put aside, Classified or not. Huge mistake!
I have waivered on my @theatlantic.com subscription off and on over the years, but this week I am feeling proud of myself for always leaning towards continuing the subscription. Integrity matters.

1) a false statement purporting to be fact;
2) communication of that statement to a third person;
3) fault amounting to at least negligence ; and
4) some harm caused to the reputation of the person or entity who is the subject of the statement.
It is a very good thing!
I wish #America was in a strong enough position to Immediately Arrest and Prosecute such Traitorous Activities.
Moore's Law has been the Law Of The Land for some time now.
Enemies HAD these Signal texts immediately.
