I started following you due to the cat picture at the top of your page. :) Thank you for identifying these two--I believe you remarked awhile ago that the gorgeous long-hair is Samwich?
My avatar, Jordan, lived to 16 yo. 1 Month in since she passed. Still crying, but I want to get another cat. Curious if I should get 2. I will adopt; not shop. Should they be siblings?
They are pretty. Love your fur babies. You live for their lives; they won't be their for your entire life.
2 is good if you have room, so they have company. Siblings don't always automatically get along (once socialized a feral brother+sister who were very unlike, mostly ignored each other).
Shelters/rescues let you know if a bonded pair - esp if older, they can be harder to place.
This is Sharpie sitting under my laptop desk as we speak. He's quite the weirdo. There are two others running around the house (not tuxedos and not mustachioed)
Tuxedo cats! Mine lived over 30 years, over 30 ponds, talked and shed like crazy, would admit mistakes and put himself in his cage for punishment. Big baby. Although neutered fiercely protective of other cats. Here he is when young explaining how my leather loveseat exploded. Later big.
We adopted two wonderful kitties from the same litter. One died at about 6 years old. The other is still going strong at 16. I don't know if you can be certain in life of anything, especially cats.
You are right, you can't be certain of anything, especially with cats. We adopted two sisters from the shelter, Louise (my beloved calico) and Siddie. Lou died last December very suddenly of a heart attack. She wasn't even 8... Siddie was pronounced "mega fit" today by the vet.
Here are our three Creatures of Chaos: Gus (tuxedo) & Tallulah cuddling; Jasper on our stairs. They’re littermates and the absolute cutest troublemakers ever. #Caturday
That is double trouble right there. I love tuxedoes! They are so fun. Thank you for sharing your beautiful babies. Crash says "how you doing?" Very curious of other cats. 😻
I’m sorry for your loss. We lost our big black ‘fraidy cat unexpectedly at less than six years old due to some kind of a cardio pulmonary condition that hit him really quickly
My Misstache came running, holding up her paw and crying. I thought she had stepped on something or maybe a bite of some kind. After a few hours she seemed fine. Next day I noticed she was sitting by her water dish but not drinking. Took her to the ER Thanksgiving day where she was diagnosed w hcm
Our boy had been hiding out but then came out meowing strangely when he heard me come into the room. Staggering and meowing frantically. His lungs were full and he was dying. He made it to the vet hospital and died before they could euthanize. A painful painful day
Omg. I'm so sorry. I swear i thought Misstache was ok. She too was a hider. Probably because she was sick. She had been to the vet recently and had a good check-up. I was absolutely devastated when I got her diagnosis and even more so when I had to make the decision.

Good luck! 😸
Hahahaha 🐾💙
RIP😽💕
I'm going to go ahead and say you're so glad that's not a shorter mustache. ;)
Unfortunately, I don't have any cats, but I do have a few little peanuts
Little fluff ball teddy bears
Now I want to know how she got her name!
these are my two, Jessie (on the chair) and Jax.
Personally, Bacon would seem a better fit.
Shh you will ruin her disguise, she's undercover. 🤫🤫
