The method is if states and congressional never affirmed a constitutional amendment with a post ratification law enacting it that amendment is null and void. Sort of like how a strict reading of “freedom of the press” only refers to 1790s mechanical print-presses and no other media/institution.

Vance runs as President. Trump runs as Vance’s VP.

Vance takes oath at noon on January 20, 2029. At 12:05, he resigns and Trump becomes president.
