We all decry the Hungary/Orban model (Putin-lite) that we seem to be steering towards. But, there are cronies and beneficiaries of that system.. Trump is creating a class of beneficiaries of his system.. and so 🤷🏽‍♂️ to all the appeal to logic, emotion, and 'US democracy' being made.. a pessimistic view

As a current fed I can confirm that our most important institutions are being destroyed by a wrecking ball. So many key people and institutional knowledge have walked out the door, I can’t imagine how we’ll survive the next 4 years, then out the pieces back together. I’m heartbroken.
