The ability of demagogues & autocrats to surprise, to create a new scandal every day, is their superpower. It diminishes attention to the previous day's transgressions & normalizes them. It slowly numbs the senses, including outrage. Values are the only defense. Hold them dear.
Thank you, gave me opportunity to go over accounts of individuals, (not news accounts) that have 30k + followers and 10 accounts they follow, and unfollow them.
That’s all nice and good. I can follow these people. But, after getting kicked off the former site, going back, and not reclaiming my following, I’m reluctant to follow so many accounts while those who follow me are so few. I may be a small voice, but I have one.
Still not going to follow one single Lincoln Logger (they built this Conservofascism in the first place and got rich off doing so), nor will I follow the Rethug J6ers that allowed their colleagues to get away with their sedition by protecting them from being investigated.
