It's a very clever protest concept, they can't beat people up for not buying things.

Spend nothing, unless it's essential eg medical emergency, or perhaps with a small local store. Unless you know your small local store voted for Trump.

At one point in Canada, there was a movement against establishing a free trade agreement with the US. One of the tools used was for people to print a very visible poster & put it in their front window. A good idea I think … unless you are in a MAGA neighbourhood, in which case be careful.

I have not shopped at Walmart or Sam’s in many years. I don’t agree with their business practices or how they treat their employees. But I admit I’ve been using Amazon as a crutch when I didn’t want to go to the store. No more!

We've used Walmart because for many years it was all I could afford to keep my family fed and clothed. But I haven't shopped there since the inauguration. Same with Prime. Husband and I have started thrifting as much as we can.

Addressed at the end of the post. This is only the first action. It shows that we can organize one day, and it works. Which means that the next one will be longer and more disruptive.
