I lived in a small rural Missouri town when Obamacare came out. As the jobs available did not offer insurance, I was able to get insurance for the first time since moving to Missouri. When Trump took office, my free insurance went up to $353 a month. I lost my insurance. What will we lose next?
Well it's been long enough that most have forgotten that their state marketplaces are a part of obama care. And that's okay with me. We don't need any one person getting credit. I just want people to be covered. I know what it's like to get sick for life with no insurance to protect you.
In 2009, while addressing congress over his proposed bill. Obama referred to making denials over pre existing conditions illegal. It was in that moment that he became my hero. A thing I thought only children had.
Oh I love this graphic. Because some people here in FL are so oblivious to the fact that the ACÁ is Obamacare. They won’t have health coverage next year…
Well Florida&Texas can blame theyre corrupt gerrymandered Republican party for stealing their state. All I can say to them is the same thing I tell my fellow Ohioans good luck getting it back now.You might want to look at moving&let the state collapse cuz if nobodys working there nobodys living there
Every time I meet one, I wonder how long it'll take to me to figure out if they're just manipulable, or if they're cruel. One or the other for certain, and possibly both.. but I've yet to meet one who is neither.
I had an acquaintance claim
that Georgia was ‘self
Sufficient’ - then asked him to explain why 30% of our state budget and 40% of our transportation budget is federally funded.. and he had no response… Georgia is # 20 of 50’states for Federal dependency…🤷♀️
When they start talking about Socialism I ask them if they are ok living off only the taxes they contribute to the Federal Budget instead of living off the taxes paid by others..🤔 Then post this..
It’s seriously frustrating to continue to subsidize people whose only reason for existence appears to be to destroy every single thing I hold sacred- year, after year, after year…
Agree. But the wealthy GOP have spent decades programming them to vote against their own best interests and for the 50% tax cuts they want using those culture wars..
Subsidize and allow to vote… voting without an education, without a stake in the game, without the facts… ends up forcing the sane to be ruled by the stupid
And there should be no additional limitations on who can vote.
After all, democracy includes all of us, notwithstanding the subjective standards that would be imposed by those less dedicated to the proposition that All Americans stand equal before the Law.
I’ve never done this calculation before. I lived in New York for nearly 20 yrs - with a pop of 19.6m and 28 EC votes, that makes 700,000 votes for each EC vote.
The majority of maga are convinced that That Damn Black Plan benefits only black people and they want it stopped! Horrifying that so many people are so hateful. But they showed their asses and we won't forget.
Jimmy Fallon showed us this ages ago...but he didn't even have to go to a red state--this is funny but scary and sad that the people are clearly just opposed to the "Obama" part:
No need. Just rub it in their stupid fucking faces. Maybe pain and shame is what it takes for these these dumb fucks to get it through their thick skulls. We tried everything else, but they wouldn't listen, so fuck em.
Then, hopefully, enough of them die as a result of their terrible decisions so we can be rid of them as voters. Another Covid outbreak would be helpful to thin their ranks again.
I think more than half of the Republican applicants don’t understand where that care comes from. But it shows that they/we/America needs a better education system.
We can afford it, but we allow ourselves to be railroaded out of it. Vote for people who better align with our collective needs. If they are not, FIRE THEM.
Of course we can afford it. The US spends around 16% of our total GDP of $30 trillion dollars on private healthcare compared to half that amount in countries that have national healthcare. The other half of that $5+ trillion goes to the health insurance companies that deny claims to increase profit.
Things you should know: Red states are the poorest and least educated in the United States. This makes the people in those states the most susceptible to falling for the type of propaganda that more educated people snicker at. There are also bright blue points of light in those states. Grow that.
Nothing would make me happier than to improve the educational level across all the red States. I would also like to pass a $15 to $17 minimum wage in all of those States. However they keep choosing to vote for the GOP so we need to fix that problem first.
So it sort of makes a mockery of calling yourselves “One nation” if not all the nation can get the same good start in life. More “one nation, divided into bits of nice, nasty and keep-them-all-in-the-dark”. Thank you though for educating me. I struggle to know why education isn’t a National thing.
The Democrats have tried to improve public education many times and some have succeeded but the GOP is absolutely opposed to public education. Now they want to remove the Department of education. I think the 2024 election results give us a pretty good idea as to why they want to do that.
Only to an extent through the Department of Education. For the most part, states have agency over their own ed. But this admin wants to close down the Dept of Ed completely…
Propaganda doesn’t just target the least educated. It’s slicker than that. It’s designed to work especially well on smart people who think they’re immune. Why? Because overconfidence makes the perfect blind spot.
Remember when Ivy Leaguers bought into the Iraq WMD narrative? Exactly.
Smart people who think they're immune are not smart. Nobody is immune, but the smart will not run with something until it is checked and verified, ideally more than once.
Of course, some will also adopt a position that they don't believe in because it offers an advantage - that's a kind of smart 😊
Are you going to do the work they do...Who will fill those jobs? They pay taxes, pay into social security but can't collect it..
Do construction 🚧 jobs, service jobs, lawn care, farming jobs for our food, etc
Again this will only negatively effect your communities, cities, towns, and beyond
Wake up
No surely not... It's reality what will happen to remove thousands +people from this country... Has nothing to do with slavery... If anything a huge amount of immigrants work for very low pay and baddd conditions
Yeah I was talking to a guy the other day who said the same thing: who's going to get our food and clean up after us? I swear the guy sounded like Hank Hill. Talk about white privilege.
You need to open your eyes and ears. These people are keeping us fed and cleaning up after us.
Who do you think is going to do that if they're gone?
Plus, the majority of them are good people. Just like the majority of white people are good. Why punish all for the sins of a few?
🙏🌊🇺🇲💙🇺🇲🌊🙏
Yeah what’s not sustainable is instant mass deportations of 55 million and blanket tariffs all at once. Our economy will be devastated and Trump and musk know it, they won’t propose any kind of 10 year plan to shore up American manufacturing beforehand, just play on your emotions to screw yourself.
They spent upwards of a $trillion bringing them in, housing, feeding, flying them all over the country. We can spend another $trillion getting them out.
Yes, it is. Don't believe the stories that MAGA puts out there.
They need a BOOGIE MAN.
Without a BOOGIE man, their plan doesn't work.
The US economy will not stand without the immigrants. Think about it.
Trumps policies are going to put the strain on food banks. Worry about that.
🙏🌊🇺🇲💙🇺🇲🌊🙏
I will be attacked for what I have to say, but America is only showing their true colors. 49.1 % of this country want the good old days when white was right and all the “others” stayed in their place. Subservient to their their Masters and a belief that they are the Master Race.
There were no good ol days. It’s in their heads .
Old people are having thoughts of days gone by when people were brainwashed into submission by man made religion. Blacks , Gays marginalized groups & women had NO rights.
They will try this radical agenda to turn back time. It will FAIL miserably .
Especially my demographic 🤬 my husband still thinks it’s economic anxiety or that those folks “really believe”
Yeah, too many of his relatives really believe in Christian white supremacy 🙄
We lived in Maryland so we know. Oddly we are taxed less in Florida but they get you in other ways. I just can't stand living next to people who voted for "Mass Deportation Now" while displaying a Nativity Scene in their front yard.
The blue (west) coast is pretty nice. I’ve been in WA since 1983. The cities are expensive, but you can find homes in rural areas that are reasonably priced. Currently selling 3/2 walking distance to the ocean for $300k. Moving to 2 acres on OR lake for $315k.
I was almost born in Texas. we had to move back to PA when mom was almost 9 months pregnant (grandma was ill)-now I live in AZ. We’re a purple state. We have a Democrat for a governor & we also have as senators, Mark Kelly & Gallego— we also have an attorney General that is a democrat, Kris Mayes
I grew up in Pennsylvania. After living in Maryland, I said that I wasn't going back to that weather but actually now I don't want to be south of MD/VA.
I grew up between Vegas and Wilkes-Barre, PA. Flew across the country many a times. I’ve lived full time in PA since I left UNLV 27ys ago. I’ve been putting off our move to FL cuz, well, it’s Florida and I’ll deal with the weather than that crazy bullshit
Well…from personal experience I can swear that Dem admins do and care more about our health care than GOP ones.
I was without coverage or care prior to the ACA. After I was able to get medical and dental care. Just one old lady’s opinion but my life was saved by Lib’s policies not Con’s. 1/2
I wonder if their intention is to make red states so unlivable that only the rich in their climate controlled gated castles can live there. And those too poor to leave. Lords and ladies and their peasant servants.
Some differences between myself and my husband and some of our "neighbors" is that a) we work; b) we know how to construct sentences; c) we do not have a lawn jockey in our front yard or collect large appliances to make the rent. Soap box over and out. Time to work :)
Same. My husband and I are on the ACA come 1/1/25 because he's been unemployed in this trash job market and my job is closing in March. Not everyone can get employer health insurance. We are two little blue dots in a red state
I'm in FL. And self employed, haven't had insurance in over 10 years. Because I make so little in my business ACA wants $600- 700 a month just for me. And Florids won't fg help. And O have health issued.
My first reaction is “well, Trump voters are about to learn how bad it will get” with cold indifference. My second reaction is “unfortunately people who didn’t vote for him will have to deal with it too”, leading the indifference to turn anger.
Republicans are weak WRT public policy. They simply don't make the connection between the policy and who it impacts. If they end the ACA those people in red states will be happy to see it go even if it ends up being fatal to them.
We have a lot of democrats in Texas including me just recently unemployed and signed up for Obamacare aka ACA while I’m job hunting! Many of us voted for Harris but there’s a lot of shenanigans going when it comes to voter suppression/votes thrown out by the corrupt scum GQP in charge of elections!
Well, they're in for a rude awakening aren't they, and at the very least they'll find out that Obamacare = the Affordable Care Act. It's only been 14 years, boy, are they in for a shock.
These people have a psychological break misunderstanding that their brainwashed hatred of the government clashes with their dependence on the government.
Its the power of propaganda. Constant messaging from Fox et al. has created its own truth. Belief is required for truth, and these people are believers.
Yes sir. First, as an instructor, thank you for spelling et al. correctly. And second, not only propaganda, but its use being drummed into minds so consistently across every media platform 24/7 that it must be true. And it plays on emotion, not fact. So powerful and persuasive.
They are hypocrites who know they voted against all of it but will claim that since “blacks” or “Hispanics” get “handouts” they also deserve Obamacare, or Medicaid, or Snap benefits.
Problem is so will we all. Their lack of education, prejudices, naïveté, cluelessness, and being easily lead will hurt
everyone except the very,
very wealthy.
Republicans are amazing at propaganda and manipulating the facts. They are so upfront in lying, that voters would rather have liars over democrats. We pretended Biden was FDR and his health ok. If we want to win again, we need to reform. I don’t see it happening with the old guard still in charge.
White people often complain about those who don't fit the required mold being lazy and abusing the system
So of course they'd vote for somebody whom they think will stop that behavior, so that money can be used for the people whom they believe deserve it more and worked for it
You and me both but to stay sane/not lose my friends who are probably just as scared if not more than me, I gotta tell myself it isn't going to be that way
🚨🚨🚨
We’re on the brink of a dangerous pandemic. Take this seriously. I’ve created a template for reaching out to decision-makers—it takes just 5 minutes to send the letter—act NOW! before Trump and JFK Jr. take over the office.
🙏 Share this with everyone you know.😷 https://medium.com/@natalia.yudina.psy/a-new-pandemic-looming-46e1eee26762
I absolutely understand the frustration you're expressing—it’s such an important issue. My post about the pandemic letters was meant to emphasize acting now on another health-related crisis. We really need more voices pushing for systemic change!
Among other reasons, companies that want low cost workers also do not provide benefits like health care insurance to those workers. Hint red state folks, you are more likely to have no pension so social security will be your only retirement. Better keep Trump from cutting your ss.
My point is it's not bad to wish bad on those who already hate those who don't agree with their policies. Apparently I didn't make myself clear. There's plenty of hate on both sides.
ok so your point is to meet their hate and nastiness with more hate and nastiness directed at them and any vulnerable people around them. Personally I try to feel solidarity with other people who are being oppressed, even if they’re misguided. I hope you can find some peace.
I feel sad for the kids.... But given that Trump cultists want to weaponize their politics against other people's children, I find it hard to be sympathetic. Hopefully their kids grow up smarter.
My opinion is that citizens should move to states aligned with their beliefs and US should be splitted afterwards into United States of MAGA and the rest. US federation cannot survive anymore, too polarised.
Didn’t they try that … ? From memory, the problem was that when the breakaway states were defeated, they gained even more power through political compromises and their hatred was passed through generations until some immigrant bought a megaphone and started a fight or two.
In theory, I agree wholeheartedly and love to have conversations about the best ways to split the US into separate countries, but in practice I know it’s not anywhere near that easy. Especially for the most vulnerable amongst us.
They won by a hair, and in many states only because of Gerrymandering. Giving up our country for that isn't happening, at least not yet. We have termites but the house isn't gone, anymore than Ukraine should give up any part of their country. Na zis can get lost.
Sorry, terrible idea. Over the decades, this would be the path to actual war, not the prepper fantasy version but actual interstate industrial violence and death. The polarisation is the outcome of productized anger in our media, first traditional and then social media in more recent years.
So you propose people uproot themselves and possibly leaving everything they know and everyone they love behind. On paper it sounds good but in reality it just isn’t plausible. The people left behind due to these circumstances will be impacted the most.
At this point, I don't care. They wanna touch the hot stove? Well, they can get burned. And everyone else who suffers collateral damage can take their anger out on the MAGATs.
It’s so infuriating. Even in Biden‘s interview with the Midas touch, he specified how much he did to help the red states. Meanwhile, they did nothing but spew hate and abusiveness towards him. They need to learn the hard way at some point.
Fox news brain rot.
What's worse is the churches in red states and Christians rallying behind trump.
Christianity is authoritarian. The pastor is always right, never question God. The pastor speaks for God. That's why Christians vote Republican. That & racism.
Tens of millions of Americans do not have any kind of health insurance. None at all. Every one of them is a centimeter away from a complete financial collapse should they become ill. In order to qualify for government subsidized healthcare after getting sick they will lose everything they have.
To make it worse it is run by the states. If you're in a shitty Medicaid state your luck just ran out. If you're in a blue Medicaid sate you have a small chance, but not by much more. On average you can have no more than about $2,000 dollars in total assets of all kinds and still qualify.
The brain washed will only understand when the Trump/Musk policies finally hit their pockets. They won’t have to wait long.
Tariffs at the border will not only cost the consumer more - they will result in counter measures and the hitherto friendships with Canada ( particularly) will suffer greatly
Sadly Canada will likely vote in a conservative govt in the next federal govt. They are a trump wannabe party. Red states will blame the Current Dem govt for any cost increases.
More of a weakness of the Liberals that the strength of the conservatives - they will be elected with about 40% of the vote so 60% will vote against them. But the vote will be split between liberal and NDP so first past the post doesn’t mean a majority support them.
Just to say a conservative government in Canada is closer to your independents and democrats than the Republican Party. Even PP with his radical views don’t last long if he damages the social fabric of the country. We will just bide our time - it’s only 4 years!
Its interesting because many of the people I know who are voting cons, are socialists at heart. They believe and advocate for better services. It's the "fiscal conservative" that attracts them. And lack of understanding.
P P has done a good job of villainizing Trudeau - name calling and blame for everything which has resonated with many people. Unfortunately they cannot see that the conservatives talk about a common sense plan but no one has ever seen it doesn’t exist. Economy cost of living housing are universal
I live in a riding that provincially has historically been NDP, we voted in a Conservative. A conspiracy theorist. Many didn't understand that Trudeau would still be in power 🤦♀️. Or didn't understand the different responsibilities of local, prov and fed govt. Sadly, fact checking is also a struggle.
If Trump had any intelligence, he'd pretend to get rid of Obamacare, put in the exact same system but worse somehow, and call it Trumpcare. The MAGAts will hail it as the best thing ever.
So: Trump will invade Greenland, Mexico, Canada and Panama. Trump/Musk will completely gut social security. Gone forever. Food assistance and medicare will disappear forever. all unions busted. minimum wage back down to 5/hour. We will be relocated to work camps for Musk. And nice democrats allow it
Ahhh…I remember…bc those states refused to join the ACA Medicaid benefits at the federal level and wanted to create their own state version which required people to pay into their state health insurance. Am I right? (I live in a red state).
They shouldn't worry. That "concept of a plan" they voted for will surely offer better coverage, cheaper costs, and cover those "hospital deserts" wonderfully!
Fostering unity as a country will be essential in the coming months. Policies will affect all of us and will ultimately be harmful in ways we haven't yet imagined.
Nigel Farage belongs to the "Look mother I am an abortion with teeth party" - an acidic fart - a colonic convulsion - but we knew that was coming - (Hey-ho) 👇😜
54% of the population have a 6th grade reading level and 21% are illiterate. Education is the biggest factor at play, or lack thereof. The right thrives on anti-intellectualism and wants to keep the population dumbed down, to keep them voting like this.
"Somehow people are being tricked"..... no, everyone who voted for a lying, thieving rapist knew exactly who they were voting for. The terrifying issue is why they were okay with his track record.
They literally don't believe they are being lied to. I hear from a lot of people literally who don't don't believe trump cheated on all of his wives 🤷🏿♂️ almost as if they are in a cult...
Because they are in a cult. Their brains have turned to sponge only absorbing the horrendous rhetoric by Trump who is legitamized by media. Those of us with functioning brains must resist fascism fully.
Yep, they're choosing to listen to the real fake news and can't be bothered by anyone telling them what the truth really is. I can't feel sorry for anyone at this point.
Cut the red handout states off. Federal spending should not be more than what their taxpayers pay in. If that means we have to move military assets out, that's probably better for national security anyway.
Yup. At Christmas overheard a family friend, basically in tears, saying she'd have to apply because of her job and medical situation. Told her relax, it's fine, I was on it for like six months last year between jobs. Promise they don't murder you or anything
Anyone responding to MY post, please🙏 FOLLOW THE THREAD.
I am arguing with the tinfoil hat wearer who thinks Biden "funneled in" 11 million illegal immigrants into Red States and that's why the demand for the ACA/Obamacare is so high.
He kept the exact same immigration policies in place except for separating kids from their families. He did nothing different that changed what Trump installed prior significantly.
No one is surprised. Red states are largely subsidized and the ones that take advantage of public benefits disproportionately. The same white dude in the trailer park on disability will be voting to for the person who wants to get rid of SSDI
Just like farmers who almost didn't get help with 3 month budget
Last time around dRump screwed farmers bad with tariffs over crops to China so we.. Taxpayers had to make big payments to farmers... 16 billion
Yeah but don't they say that the blue states tend to be more educated and thus wealthier- so they don't necessarily have to use the government programs? After all the Trump voters tend to be less educated and therefore hold lower paying jobs.
Trump didn’t even know they were the same thing. One of his snippets from the campaign was he was going to repeal Obamacare but not touch the Affordable Care Act.
It's hard to tell these days if that was a calculated message aimed to exploit a wholly ignorant mass of people or if he just legitimately doesn't realize they're two different things.
If you take it as a calculated message, that actually paints him (or his strategists) as legitimate political geniuses. To be honest, I’m not sure which take is worse for the country.
I also don't know what's worse. I'm also sure his political advisors are well aware of the difference, but again it's 50/50 on whether their message was conveyed through Trump's mouth / "Truth" social posts or if he just was ad libbing based on his dementia riddled thoughts.
You can explain to them until you're blue in the face, and rare is the one who won't totally reject what you're saying. Thank FOX News. They insist on learning the hard way. #ETTD #FAFO
100% agree. I usually don't waste my time trying to explain anything to them because it's above their level of intelligence and either argue with you or tell you that that's not correct or they don't believe instead it was he was a phenomenal businessman all I can say is bullshit
My Grandson’s family in Grand Junction Colorado think trump is a God. Sadly only the discrimination he must endure will open his https://eyes.it breaks my heart.
Yet Trump wants to get rid of Obamacare. We all know it's just that it doesn't have Trump's name on it and never will. I hope you posted these statistics on X also. The MAGAs need to see this. They're all insane, but you never know...
honestly. please someone explain. why is the plan to sit and feel smug as the nation hurts its self? they are hurting, not just theirself, but also you too. even worse the majority of Americans are apathetic.
They gullibly vote against their best interests because they fall for the lies. This is why MAGA wants as many low information voters as possible out there in the wild.
And as that frsph also shows the largest lopsided bite was for Calvin Coolidge, who handed Herbert Hoover the economy that nose-dived into the Stock Market Crash of 1929 that started the Great Depression.
Education does play a role, that is true. But it still shows that college educated people don’t vote democratic as heavily as we like to think. Other variables like gender are more deterministic than education background.
Low information does not strictly correlate to educational level. It is a factor among many others at play. But yes, the assumption that higher educational achievement always leads to voting for Democrats is false—and the other side uses it just as much to try to vilify “the elites”.
Ok, I might have misunderstood your point about the low education part and don’t completely disagree.
I see one thing about this argument that kinda bothers me though. It excuses people with higher education from having bad info. We might have to start to believe some of these people are just evil.
They're going to be in for an eye-opening awakening when they realize that ACA and Obamacare are the same thing and the people they elected want to end it
Yes,and it was called the Affordable Care Act by Democrats and Republicans did all they could to cause it to fail. They were so sure it would fail, that they nick-named it Obama Care; so that it would reflect on Obama. Republicans did not plan on it succeeding, it backfired on them on both accounts.
I created this document and give it to them. I tell them they are the same thing but to feel to research it. Then let me know if they find out otherwise. Some are outright speechless. Saying they didn’t realize they are the same thing. “Researchers” haven’t asked any questions yet. 😁
I’ve gotten a better response by just handing them the document. I think deep down some are coming around. I certainly don’t count on a big change but people usually are at least open to a reasonable discussion at some point.
It's like trying to explain a D&C is a type of an abortion. Sometimes abortion is life saving healthcare. Their minds can't handle 2 deaths doesn't equal pro-life.
Women should have every right to Every available type of Healthcare there is. Period. No more double standards. Healthcare is a Human Right and last I checked women are human.
I agree with you, but don't forget healthcare in not a right in America. It definitely should be. If so many other countries can find a way, the richest country in the world has no excuse. And I'm sick of the argument it's socialist. So are fire departments, post office and the police.
Really looking forward to the FAFO but man they are dumb (and so racists). Saw a guy the other day talking about Obama’s huge ego to name Obamacare after himself. Anything but logic for these people. And when they do lose ACA I’m sure they will blame Obama.
'Don't forget that most men with nothing would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich than face the reality of being poor.' - Sherman Edwards, from the musical "1776"
Just incredible how the Right uses the programs they denounce far more than the left who support them. My favorite word in the Bible is Hypocrite. It's used so much in there and yet most people don't seem to understand the meaning.
The middlemen of insurance are what drives up the cost. So in that sense Obamacare wrote a huge fat juicy check to all the middlemen of the insurance industry, sending profit soaring. The only tangible benefit, which you could argue several ways on is the insurability of preexisting conditions.
You said "hate the whole system". Why? Why would anyone hate something that helps them? The insurance companies exist; until they don't people need help. So unless universal care comes along, this is what we have
LMFAO no one gate kept anything. Your opinions don't fit the discussion here and I showed how.
Using this as a counter just shows you had no real counter. Get defensive and misuse buzzwords all you want but the fact remains; YOU said the WHOLE system; then fail to sufficiently back it.
It changes everything, and you’re gatekeeping. US has the most expensive healthcare system in the world and had the chance to fix it, but they made it instead more expensive. Obamacare is neither better healthcare not about Obama. It is better payouts for the industry as a whole.
NONE of this is the topic. What we "Could have done" is irrelevant. What might be doesn't matter.
Remove ACA; and what? As I said; the insurance companies exist, without Aca you think they will what, lower prices? No. So UNTIL they don't exist, people need help.
Yeah it's true because Red states refused, to expand Medicaid under that plan. I remember those a-holes bitching about it during that time. So finding out is going to be hard for those idiots. But of course they will blame the dems.

So of course they'd vote for somebody whom they think will stop that behavior, so that money can be used for the people whom they believe deserve it more and worked for it
Unfortunately I'm seeing the same lack of braincells here in Europe 😭
No idea why humanity is this way
By the way, Happy Holidays to you and Brad!👊🏾🫶🏾
We’re on the brink of a dangerous pandemic. Take this seriously. I’ve created a template for reaching out to decision-makers—it takes just 5 minutes to send the letter—act NOW! before Trump and JFK Jr. take over the office.

But I'd be happy to provide a list of potential patriots, like Dan Patrick, for instance.
person if you wish death on half of the population because some of them disagree with you 😑

We’re all going to suffer the consequences of their choice.
I have absolutely no sympathy for those who chose this for us.
Just told my partner we would visit the family at Christmas.
What's worse is the churches in red states and Christians rallying behind trump.
Christianity is authoritarian. The pastor is always right, never question God. The pastor speaks for God. That's why Christians vote Republican. That & racism.
Open enrollment ends 12/31
The 82% is the states that voted for Trump and their applicants.
The 18% are states that voted for Harris and their applicants.
TLDR: the majority of applicants are in states that voted for Trump.
They would be hurt more if he axes it.
Tariffs at the border will not only cost the consumer more - they will result in counter measures and the hitherto friendships with Canada ( particularly) will suffer greatly
Why you will remain stupid.
Merry Xmas Sir

I could see very clearly what was happening all the way from Australia.
Really quite similar to the USA
This is what happens in a two party system. This is why Biden standing down was very bad.
All the person running has to do is oppose the power and tell the voters that they're being conned. Trump had no policy.
The answer is not easily achievable. They are a literal captive audience.
That’s powerful stuff
Would love to read that paper
That’s why it’s NOT done that way.
Honestly, I've always been so curious about someone like you where no reality seeps in, only fiction. It must be weird, right?
I am arguing with the tinfoil hat wearer who thinks Biden "funneled in" 11 million illegal immigrants into Red States and that's why the demand for the ACA/Obamacare is so high.
Please pay attention.
Last time around dRump screwed farmers bad with tariffs over crops to China so we.. Taxpayers had to make big payments to farmers... 16 billion
Once again Trump took care of the well off.
And then we wonder how Trump got elected twice.
A lot of electoral advisors know what works, but not necessarily why.
The auto flip from elected party to other party not in power has and likely always will be there.
The opposing party only has to run on that party being bad.
The fact that he just ran and sucked while in power didn't even matter.
It literally works every time on such out of touch voters.
That's why I call them pseudo Christians
why do you respect elections that are fake?
what is wrong with Americans?
I see one thing about this argument that kinda bothers me though. It excuses people with higher education from having bad info. We might have to start to believe some of these people are just evil.
Not disagreeing with you at all. IMO it’s a both/and situation and not an either/or.

I'm a determined bitch when I want to know the truth. I don't want to post something that isn't fact.
I hated it when media etc started slang calling it Obamacare...
/s
As Bernie once said....poor people don't vote...
You really just kinda made the point here...
Democrats have incrementally improved it where they can.
Harris would have worked to give us a universal health care option.
You said "hate the whole system". Why? Why would anyone hate something that helps them? The insurance companies exist; until they don't people need help. So unless universal care comes along, this is what we have
Using this as a counter just shows you had no real counter. Get defensive and misuse buzzwords all you want but the fact remains; YOU said the WHOLE system; then fail to sufficiently back it.
NONE of this is the topic. What we "Could have done" is irrelevant. What might be doesn't matter.
Remove ACA; and what? As I said; the insurance companies exist, without Aca you think they will what, lower prices? No. So UNTIL they don't exist, people need help.
