Kevin is such a tool. I enjoyed the new “Snow White” movie very much. I’m an avid moviegoer but I carefully select what I want to spend my money on. Kudos to Disney for the diverse cast and “feminist”empowerment. Women don’t need a prince to save them anymore. Ziegler and Gadot were excellent! ❄️💪🏽👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
KS can't even name one movie that he was in that was good; let alone a decent TV show.
Hell the spin-off "Xena" has a stronger following than his show ever did and ever will.
I wish Disney didn't rewrite Snow White. It wasn't their story to rewrite.
Disney should have kust created a new princess who was different from Snow White.
I watched him on Hercules and guest starting on Xena but then I found out he was the right and it's like no thank you. You are a very mediocre actor to begin with, who only had the looks in your younger years. Being an extreme right is scary for the rest of the world.
Funny how they've both been the "star" of shows where their female co-stars were infinitely better people who went on to stardom, leaving these Jesus-licking clowns wallowing in the mire of straight-to-bargain bin bible shite.
I tried watching an episode of that. Part of an episode, at least. It was just pathetic. Not merely bad sci-fi, but bad storytelling, bad acting, bad effects. I felt embarrassed on behalf of the poor actors being dragged through their paces.
Remakes can update old stories and make them meaningful for new audiences. When done with care, they keep what works, fix what doesn’t, and reflect the world today.
The live action remake of Beauty and the Beast for instance, which answered thirty-something plot holes and problems (and unanswered questions) with the original.
Or the 2000-ish Dune remake that followed the book (unlike the 80’s movie, which i still love regardless).
And what do you have against making NEW stories?
Originality. Creativity.
What possible benefit is there to refusing to let something old die gracefully, well-loved, and to add to the cultural zeitgeist with something original? What good does that do at all?
Why not both? Let the old stuff evolve and make new things too. Sorry if fresh ideas in familiar packaging hurt your feelings. A remake means the story still matters.
Spoken like somebody who has never truly been a fan of anything.
A remake means an executive wanted what they think is easy cash, is what a remake means; they usually completely tromp all over the story, and that's usually why they fail.
Sounds like someone is mad the world moved on without asking first. Yes, execs want money. That does not mean remakes cannot be good. The Thing, The Fly, Scarface, Casino Royale all topped the originals. And if reimagining is a sin, guess we better throw out The Magnificent Seven too. 😂
That's a weird thing to say, seeing how the left has been making movies for a long time.
Hell, we only know who Kevin Sorbo is because some left-leaning Director/Writer/Showrunner hired him.
Kevin hasn't been right since the stroke. It's kind of sad that the right keeps using the dregs of his 90's stardom to amplify the sick thoughts of a broken mind for their own political gain.
Pretty on-brand, though.
Another Sorbo attempt to be 'relevant'. When kids in your science class are openly doing a google search to see who Sorbo WAS and googling what 'Hercules" tv show was all about, you've no cred or relevancy.
Not a reply to you, just an enthusiastic recognition of the character name and the book he appears in, which I have been recommending for the last eight years as required reading!
Kevin Sorbet? The name's somewhat familiar... I just can't place it. I'm almost 60, would I know any of his work? Has he been in something I may have seen? I just can't think of anything he's done where I've heard of him.
Kevin Sorbo. Famously named after the Dutch cleaning products company Sorbo, hasn't had a career since Hercules ended. Unlike his Dutch counterpart that is still in existence since 1890 something...
No, no, he also was in Andromeda and managed to make it a flop…somehow…at a time when the world was desperate for a sci-fi show and Andromeda had no competition.

I stopped after 2 first lines.
I don't read this kind of excrements you shouldn't too George.

Literally a hurled chunk!
Sorry felt poetic this morning, thanks🙏

To cry baby defending trump and demanding a Christian theocracy state where people not of his faith are oppressed
Speaking of, isn't he due back in his autograph cage at the Arc Encounter?
P.S. The only reason I ever watched Hercules was because of Michael Hurst. He was the better actor. I also preferred Xena and Young Hercules.
That would be worth the amount of attention Snow White is getting, just for its choice in casting.
Has there been a point when actors are cast by merit, rather than because of a particular element of their physical make up?
Kevin Sorbo has obviously never watched a Kevin Sorbo movie.
His career died after Andromeda.
Dude fell off in a very big way
Part of the problem is that Disney is trying to shoehorn modern messages into story-formats and premises that don't allow for it, not easily.
Just make something NEW. Original.
Better.

Can’t think of any others.
Like, would it be possible to save "Ishtar" or was it doomed from the start?
But Hollywood keeps remaking the GOOD ones, and that's a mistake.
But yeah IMHO they should do the remakes that are needed, and put in some work to add something to the story.
The ones I object to are the lazy copies just done as a cash-grab. The ones where you go “i’ve already seen this” and the remake contributes nothing.

PLUS all the merch will be for the new one now. 😡
