Keep track of those prices Fred.We need to do a 3-month price comparison on items that you constantly buy.Toilet paper for example keep track of the price of toilet paper every time you buy it brand&everything. Then come Feb we'll see how well those tariffs really work if they're even implemented
Definitely I was just using that as an example. But then again it's only going to take a pandemic and that'll change. As we already know with a million of our fellow citizens gone because of dereliction of duty of the a****** who's in charge again supposedly. We've got until January 20th at noon
I'm still a firm believer in the toilet paper shortage during the lock down having to do with many people having to cook for themselves for the first time...
I will always wonder why the price of specific grocery items like these 2 were not addressed more.
They were key sticking points for the “groceries are too high”
We get most of our meat from a wonderful sustainable farm, but we still buy giant ribeye steaks (one is enough for both of us!) and pork shoulder from Costco.
Nope, not a thing! Walked out the door with my hands up. TBF, I was looking for a Switch bundle, that they had previously sold out. Rest assured, I would have bought it, if they had it.
Reason I ask, there was a bad storm over in Western WA last week, & many grocery stores were without power for up to a week & had to toss tons of perishables. They have backup generators, but not enough juice to run refrigeration. Just lights & checkstands. I used to work in grocery. It's a shame.
When I lived in a state where a Costco sold wine I bought 6 months of wine with my annual rewards certificates (membership and credit card). I love Costco.
:) I was referencing the posts that were telling him to eat plant based as well. And your comment is hard to decipher as light hearted when I simply read the one sentence. Fred appreciated the comment, so have a spiffy day
We had a year, after remodeling our kitchen, that our certificate filled 2 full carts and could of started on a third had we not been so tired and stopped. Good times 😀
I actually worked in the corporate offices and Jim Sinegal sat down the hallway from me. It's been a good company for a long time, but I can't even hardly go in there without some sort of sacrifice to my sons inheritance.

Speaking from experience. 😏
I regret that I no longer have access to a huge chest freezer.
30 meat dishes. That was all. No drinks, no utensils, not a vegetable in sight.
That happened.
will come in handy if tariff man gets his way.
I have beef, pork, lamb, fish but never Turkey.
I am Scottish and always associate turkey with American Thanksgiving celebrations definitely not Xmas.
