JD Vance criticizes Denmark as "not being a good ally”, confirming the US may "take more territorial interest" in Greenland.

As tensions with allies increase, he stated Trump doesn't care if "the Europeans scream at us" if US interests are involved.

Really?? Did Denmark contribute forces under NATO to the operations in Afghanistan - you know, the only time that Article 5 has ever been invoked - in response to the attacks against us on 9/11? YES, yes they did. For over a decade. I’d say that’s a good ally

I believe they're likely flying straight to one of the US military bases in Greenland, so Greenland really doesn't have any way to block the flight altogether.

I certainly wouldn't send any elected officials to the base to be part of the reception. Whatever Mrs Vance & Sec Waltz hope to do while they're up there doesn't need to be recognized or sanctioned by either the Greenland or the Danish government. Leave them twisting in the wind.
